He needs a sand dune display stand versus the Death Star grate otherwise, a fantastic fig

Yeah I think it's a missed opportunity for more figures to have been given the sand base. Sandtrooper, Luke, and Kenobi all could have gotten one. I associate Luke and Ben with Tatooine more than anything else. Not sure if they would have figured out a way for them to be combined the way the Death Star stands can be, but that would have been a bonus.

Is there a light up saber going with this figure? Like Kenobi?

Yea, I've thought about looking for the Snadtrooper base for Luke and Ben after the Sandtrooper comes out, and if I can find some reasonably priced I may just pick two up.
 
Maybe it's the lighting, but are the pants the correct Color? I could be mistaken and I'll have to watch the film to compare, but they don't look right to me.
 
I got an email a while back from Sideshow stating that this had been bumped up to a December release.

Given that the head (arguably the most complicated part of the figure) is obviously in production, I don't see any reason why couldn't be true.
