I would be thrilled if Hot Toys would release eggs to go with the figures... there's really no reason not to and it would really add a lot of cool options for displays.

I'm with you Wor-Gar,I've always liked the blue highlights as well....Whichever film type or lighting James Cameron used in ALIENS...it gave the creatures a slight blue tint (he used similar technique in Terminator 2) and I never really minded it and I like it.

Hi galactiboy. The ALIENS "snap-kit" figures come in perfect 1/6 scale sized alien eggs. I have four of those snap kits, and the eggs are just the right size to complement the 1/6 scale, or 12" ALIENS HT marines! Look for some on eBay from this seller: banthatrader. He's a great guy. I got the Ripley, Hicks (even this small snap kit Hicks is SUPER RARE!), Drake, and an alien warrior from him a few months ago. I still want to get the Sgt. Apone snap kit from him. Check him out! Take care.

Thanks for all the fantastic images of the Aliens Warrior, your pics positively ooze with atmosphere.
It certainly looks like Hot Toys did a great job with this figure, the articualtion seems to allow for some very dynamic and dramatic poses. I think that really enhances the intricate detail in the sculpt and paintjob.
Man there are so many figures I'd love to buy right now (mostly Hot Toys coz their stuff rocks!) but I just dont have the budget right now lol

They're close to scale and work good enough, but I don't think they're exactly scale with 1/6 humans, at least, assuming that Hot Toys marines are in scale with Sideshow figures, which my Rambo's are, because when I kneel a Sideshow figure before one of the snap kit eggs, it hovers over the egg a bit too large, compared to when Kane kneels in front of the egg in Alien where his head is just about level with the rim when it opens and gets him. Also, I think GB was interesting in functional eggs with facehuggers like I had spoke of a few lines before that. Like I said, the snap kit eggs are ok, but I think they need to be about 1/4 to 1/3 larger to be in scale.

I think Kane was hunched over the egg, not just kneeling in front of it, but I might be wrong. Also, the fact that the HT eggs are cut off at the base makes them a bit "short".

I got mine from Mudshark, he had an extra one and saw a post of mine a while back asking the board to let me know if anyone knew of somewhere I could score one, and he approached me with an offer and I took him up on it. It was an occassion of The Brotherhood of Freaks pulling through again. Some very stand up people on these boards, it's nice having friends that will look out for you and help you out and make things like this and the collaborative projects happen, and as you see from the displays and pieces people show off, some amazing stuff results. Rock on brothers!!! and HUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE thanks to Mudshark for hooking me up!!!!
I think he prefers to be called "artificial person" haha. Looking forward to pics Paul, always impressed with that piece, you have one of the most amazing collections of custom figures I've ever seen between Aliens and Terminator.

Bishop is in prep now, but he'll be joining the Sulaco Crew soon.. I should have some interesting pics coming (including a pipe shot!)
And don't forget I was JUST crazy enough to buy a 1/6 table and chairs and painted it stainless steel/chrome to serve many more poses...

Add a new Hudson head to the list of things to get then, the "aaaaaahhhhhhhhh" face would be great for a table display, though some might think "it wasn't funny man".
Not sure what body you put him together with, but if you could get or have a spare right hand, might be cool to add some glue running down his hand for the blood when he cut himself in the knife stunt.

Okay, he's finally done. This is the repainted OOAK Callous Bishop head with real rabbit fur hair and articulated eyes. Yours truly did the rest.
You may note the right hand needs a retouch as the head was painted with oils and it didn't take well to the rubber hands but that's a minor touch up...
Breakdown:
Bishop Head with real hair, articulated eyes: Callous
Body: Short Dragon Pietr
Jumper: BBI Walker (collar not film accurate)
Shoes: SSC Connor Nike's repainted by pjam (needs touch up)
Watch: I forget, detailed by moi

Wow pjam! I'm so happy to see your Bishop. I can't wait for more pictures. I would love to see more of the "articulated eyes" and the "real rabbit fur hair"! 
I may add some Super Sculpey to my custom Bishop's hair to try to give him more of his look from the movie. I am getting in a pair of those elusive Ripley boots with an extra Ripley body soon. I'll cut down the boots some for my Bishop to look like his did. I don't have a laptop or neck chain yet. I'll get those sometime soon. I am going to get a better Gameitoy GSG-9 jumpsuit from www.war-toys.com soon for only a few bucks. It looks more accurate than the one I'm using now that I got from a Dragon GIGN soldier. Here's a picture of that Gameitoy GSG-9 jumpsuit I'm going to use for my Bishop:

That would be so cool. Where did you find the 1/6 scale table and chairs from? What about the body you got for your Bishop? Where did you find the "Dragon short Pietr" body? I want to get one for my Bishop. The SS Frank Black body is really tall. He's about as tall as the HT Drake.
