AHHHHHHHHH! That dropship is SWEET! :rock
Color me very envious! I've been trying to get one for ages.

Cool figs! Did those binocs come with Apone?

Thank you. I got the Drop Ship off EBAY for only $109,- ! :chew
The APC is hidden inside. ;)

Furthermore, yeah, the binoculars where included with Apone.

Man I've been wanting that dropship ever since it came out. $100 is a steal. :monkey2
They look great together. I still have to get me a Hudson and Drake.

Yeah, I want that die-cast drop ship and APC too! I didn't know that the APC was "hidden" inside of the drop ship?! Awesome! I've seen many auctions on eBay offering the drop ship and APC separately.

You are right. I put the APC into the Drop Ship due to lack of space.
They are sold separately.

Does anyone remember the Galoob "Action Fleet" vehicles of a few years back? They did the "Narcisuss", "Dropship" and "APC" . I only managed to pick up the Dropship before they disappeared . My point is the tiny Die-cast "Micro-Machines" APC fits perfectly inside . I'll dig it out for some photos ASAP .

Yeah, thundergod, I remember those cool "Action Fleet" vehicles. But, I never could find the ALIENS APC or dropship anywhere down here at any stores! I did find the Action Fleet figure packs, and ship packs for the ALIEN movies. I got two of them I think. But, yeah, I'd still love to get those die-cast ones for the dropship and APC myself! :D

Re: LOOSE CPL. HICKS ON eBay NOW! Check it out!

Heads up guys! Anyone out there looking for what looks to be a loose and complete Hicks? Here's the eBay link for it right now:

https://cgi.ebay.com/HOT-TOYS-1-6-1...goryZ348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

We all know how super RARE Hicks is, boxed or loose. Go for it and bid if you need it/want it! The seller is in Malaysia and it looks like he only accepts Paypal, and his shipping cost to the U.S.A. for this one figure is...$35.00?! Wow! That's pretty high for just one loose figure to me!

The seller lifted that pic from ny old review for Michael Crawford... what do you reckon my chances of royalties are?

Great articles guys! I'm especially excited about an ALIENS game for consoles. Hopefully Gearbox is developing it for the system I have, the Xbox 360. I recall a few years ago that a USCM ALIENS game was in development, and I even saw a few early screen shots of it, but it never came out! I was very disappointed. So, it'll be so great to have a new, and hopefully GREAT ALIEN game soon! :D

Right one Mike!

A next-gen Aliens game should kick ass big time!!

I have always thought of Aliens as a video game on celluloid and its been a huge influence on game designers over the years.

Has anyone played the recent Aliens extinction arcade game? Its awesome and gives a good indication of what SEGA might come up with for the consoles.

Hey Mike, just a heads up to let you know, that thanks to you clueing me in, I just got in my ALIENS Illustrated Screenplay! Rocks! :rock THANKS for posting about it! Now I feel better about my Aliens book collection.
GREAT book!

Yeah, it is a GREAT book to say the least Les! I love it too. My only regret is that I was hoping it would have much more pictures in it. I wanted to see more of the marines armor, and pictures from the movie as the script unfolded. While there are a very few pictures in it while the story is going on, it woulda been great to see more. But, they do have that SUPER RARE picture close to the end of the movie from the infamous cut scene of Ripley handing a grenade to the cocooned Carter Burke! I have an old Starlog from 1986 with that same picture in it. I may try to take a picture of it to show everyone on this board. I don't have a PC scanner, but I'll give it a try with my digital camera. James Cameron is a great artist too! I loved seeing his original sketches and paintings in the book too. Awesome! :D

By the way, I have played the "ALIENS Extermination" arcade game. I play it at my local movie theater every time I go see a movie there. That game rocks! Even if SEGA just "ports" it over to gaming consoles I'm fine with that! Here's a picture of the game for everyone to see it:

It has two pulse rifle light guns with built in grenade launchers and flamethrowers on each pulse rifle. You can use them by pushing two different buttons on either the bottom or left side of the pulse rifle. There is even a red LED pulse rifle round counter on the top of the gun that counts down the ammo with each bullet you shoot! Awesome!

My ALIENS Warrior arrived today and I must say , H.T have done a fantastic job! I know people have had issues with the figures accuracy but to me , it looks just right . The articulation has been improved since the AvP version ( apart from the hips ) and this means it can get into all those signature "Creepy Alien" stances . In fact , it can't help but look great whatever position it is posed in! ( On my example though , the back/torso joint is a little loose, but as the natural position of the warrior is crouched , this doesn't really detract from the figures overall look). People have been a little concened with the paint "highlights" ,but inthe flesh , so to speak , the paint job looks perfect , in fact , very authentic to the screen used suits and puppets . All in all , Hot Toys have played a blinder with this figure and quite simply have produced an item no self respecting Alien fan can afford to be without .:D

Great pics!
I'm glad you're enjoying your warrior.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

You know what, I have to say, a testament to how fantastic the HT Warrior is from Aliens is the fact that in any lighting and any picture, it looks like the most badass thing ever; I think it would take great efforts to make this figure look bad under any photographic condition, and to me, that says a lot about how awesome it is because I've had a few figures where it took artistic lighting and camera angles to show it's finer qualities, but this one just comes out great all the time.
