With regards to TWS, this was the first time I actually liked Cap as a character/hero. Maybe it's because I'm not American, but I was never a fan of him. I grew up thinking that this is a dorky guy dressed in a flag who threw a shield.
I'm never right about these things in advance, lol. I also made tons of posts whining about what stupid ideas it would be to make movies about stealing the Death Star plans or young Han Solo. But oh it is so sweet to be proven wrong. So I don't blame you for clutching your A1 and TIH discs and retreating into the night, lol.
Everyone thought Bruce Willis was a joke... but he taught us all.
Why are you assuming that we've seen the end of the Hulk? I'm sure he'll continue to appear in many films down the road and I can't imagine that they'll keep him in his Professor form very long, especially once someone else takes over the part.
Pity the role that changed people's perception of him for the better has now been completely run into the ground and is now the Bruce Willis role where you again cannot take him seriously.
Has that not happened to nearly every screen hero?
Pretty amazing that Stallone's Rocky kind of became a joke and then he somehow brought him back around for three incredibly respectable films.
If only Arnold could do that.
Has that not happened to nearly every screen hero?
I bet Mel Gibson could pull off a really mean aged Max now. Given his recent history, it just adds to his Max.
Does it make you sad? Do the sides of you mouth droop like Ahhnoods pecs?
Did you have a bad first experience or was it just too much to fully process?
