It's rich, and compelling.

In all seriousness though there should be a link to this thread in B/S/T so people know who to avoid doing business with.

Absolutely. Thanks to this thread I know to avoid doing business with Enterbay.

I got a refund because they didn't respond to my claim as well. I sent the figures back also. It's a wash. I've seen a lot of claims that they knowingly sent out broken figures. Anyone care to provide proof to this claim?

I was thinking someone posted earlier in this thread where Enterbay said that the first batch had production problems. I'm too lazy to go through this thread to find it though.

I think you have to consider the fact that in many cases so far, such as Buttmunch, Enterbay didn't even bother to open lines of communication & show any interest at all in getting the figures back, much less resolving the Paypal claim. Given those circumstances I think it's perfectly acceptable not to send the figures back. If they were at Ani Con and didn't have any way of dealing with it, shame on them, that's no excuse for any kind of business in this day & age. If they really wanted the figures back they could've have simply stated "we want the figures back". IMHO Wofford29 went above & beyond sending them back, and it's his call to do so. I hope he gets his shipping costs refunded.

I emailed them twice and never heard a thing.

Finding out they have QC issues after people get the figures isn't the same as knowing you have a QC issue and sending it out anyways.

Here you go. From the CEO of EB himself.

To understand it more in context, you should click on this link & read the comments after the post. Take a note of the dates:

Edit: @francsicoliger. I don't think Enterbay products are garbage, but this release is a bit of a disappointment. Not only were faulty bodies shipped out, but the body replacements offered to customers (sellotape fix? What?) is unacceptable for collectible figures like these. This could have been a pretty nice product too :slap

I ordered mine AFTER that and still got ____!

So now that we know, let's see all the honest people make the effort to ask themselves. That is if they haven't sold the stolen property already.

Wherever you need to sleep better. But you are a bunch of thieves, and you know that.

kinda makes me wonder what would have happened if you got horrible figures and they didn't answer you,

it would be a completely different story wouldn't it ? :wink1:

I'm assuming the cost per figure isn't all that much. Hence the reason EB may not be asking for the items to be returned. Just a guess.

Personally if EB didn't bother to ask the collector to send the item back (considering the pathetic level of service) I wouldn't lose sleep not sending it back. On the other hand, if EB takes the time to ask for their goods to be returned you're a crook if you decide to ignore that request.

No request, no communication = who cares.

I have on several occasions dealt with businesses who have to me NOT to send something back (at their expense) and just sent me a replacement. This is at wholesale level as well. Sometimes it's not worth the bother or expense to them. EB may feel the same way. At least they could acknowledge their customers though.

I missed the paypal window so now I have to buy new bodies for them. I only have extra hobbit bodies, which wouldn't work. :lol

Mine were shipped AFTER the problems were found and they never answered my emails. I think Buttmunch's was the same.

Oh well. They lost a customer is all. This is the second time I've gotten crappy bodies.

They don't stand up to what is written on the website under "About Us" that's for sure. :lol

Clear your conscience. Donate your figures!:monkey3

donate your figures, To ME

Sideshow have me destroy products with QC after they send me out a replacement.

Sorry, but you've got it wrong again. Offical word directly from Paypal:

What to Do Next-----------------------------------
No further action is required by you at this time.

Paypal feels differently than you do. The know Enterbay didn't give one reply in this whole situation. They responded to you, so our cases are totally different. Had they EVER responded to me, I would have met their requests, but they didn't. And still haven't. And if they would, I would still gladly send them their figures back so long as they provide me with a pre-paid shipping label.

I sent Paypal my money. They gave it to Enterbay. When the problem happend, I contacted Enterbay. They ignored me. So I contacted the people who I gave my money to, Paypal. They tried to get Enterbay to respond to them. They didn't. So they took back the money they gave to Enterbay and gave it back. This is part of their protection. When sellers ignore cases Paypal steps in. They clearly felt Enterbay was in the wrong too or else they wouldn't have refunded me my money. And neither do they thing I need to spend my own money to return the defective figures. If they did they would have those intructions, but they say I need to nothing more at this time.

So if I'm wrong email Enterbay customer service directly and ask them if they want there figure back since you have your refund. I've posted the response I got. I'll wait for yours.
