That was my first reaction too.. but the more I think of it, this is Hot Toys and that's usually how they roll. So for me this gives me more display options at once. One diecast figure with helmet on and probably a BD figure without the helmet on.

I don't understand the clamoringfor the Murphy head. Who is gonna display Robo cop without the helmet?! Only those with multiple robocops. In which case a second figure is fine. I dunno

To me, the more display options a figure has, the more it justifiies its price. I'm not one of those guys who puts a figure on the shelf in a Ken-Doll pose and never touches it again; I like to change mine up every few weeks or so, at least when they're new.I don't understand the clamoringfor the Murphy head. Back in the day I joked with one of my friends about Robocop 2 having the Irvin Kershner blue. It seemed Kersh really liked taking grey things and making them blue in the sequel. He did that with TIE Fighters 10 years prior.

Awesome photo. This is one of the few cases where the window display photos would sell the figure more than the proto pictures could. This picture is about 1:9 scale on my current screen resolution, and I can't imagine how surreal it would be at actual 1:6

... and then when people get these in-hand they'd say
"easily my favorite figure in my collection" or "definitely Hot Toys' best!"
I guess it's only natural though

I know, hence the " ". some have over used that term even at the beginning of the year - when they have no idea what figures would be releasing later on that year.
