Really hoping the helmeted headsculpt uses a white lens. Would be a shame to not be able to display it without LED on.

Mezco’s figure has a solid likeness for it’s scale, but the Hot Toys likeness is definitely better. The only area I think the Mezco sculpt is closer is in it’s hair, but I’d be displaying the figure with the helmet anyway.

Amazing how the preview figure is already 100% complete. Other figures need work before the final version but this is perfect from the jump.

Nah seriously though. I'm pretty impressed at those last headsculpt photos from JC Hong. Looks great. Just hope the movie is good.

I noticed that the deluxe version is already sold out at BBTS and Alter Ego. I find that hard to believe since this was just released. Does anyone have any ideas about what's going on?

It could be this character is more popular than some would like to believe.

I don't know about BBTS, but it seems Alter Ego hasn't been going in for huge batches of HT figures lately, so I'm not shocked the deluxe is sold out there. FYI - PCZ, Fanboy Collectibles and Timewalker still have it available.

I'll be happy to hear that Captain Marvel sold out due to popularity. I haven't seen the movie yet but I think I will like this character.

Thanks for the tip about the other places where it's still available. I'd be interested to see when the deluxe will be sold out at those retailers.

There was something with BBTS saying that they are only allowed a certain amount of figures. That's why some people did not get a Yondu figure from them when that was released last year, they sold more than they received.

It's so disheartening to read these comments and see YouTube videos from people hating on the film, Danvers and in particular Brie.

She isn't a racist or sexist. She just said she wanted diversity in the press line up covering the film. What's wrong with that?

Pathetic men feeling threatened by a female lead but covering it up with ruining a franchise or bad writing or SJW politics. It's all so transparent that they simply don't like women and feel threatened.

It's the same in the Doctor Who fandom at the moment with a small but very loud group proclaiming EXACTLY the same things and I imagine the same happening in the Star Wars fandom too.

To be fair, the trailers are kinda meh, the plot seems rather predictable and the action bits (released to the public thus far), are not entirely thrilling. An amnesiac hero rediscovering her identity and purpose is a common trope these days, it would take more than positive early screenings to convince me that the movie is worth a watch. If i wanna see captain marvel in action, I would just wait for A4: endgame.

As for those comments from incel groups, I learned to tune out those noise, they are not worth the time.
