I don't put a lot of stock in any news unless it direct from HT at this point. I am pretty sure HT has said they were going to make other items that mysteriously never were made.

If a company were to contemplate selling a 1/6 TIE, now would be a very good time to do it.

Starting in two months, the new SW tidal wave will start to hit, and it's possible a "SW mania" will be maintained to some degree for a decade. Well, unless TFA turns out to be like TPM that is.

Well the article says "We reached out to the folks at Hot Toys who have confirmed for us..." I guess you just have to assume they actually did speak to a HT rep, but that site's pretty established.

The bit at the end seemed like a footnote though which is what worries me :/ It may have just been them assuming, but hopefully not!

Let's see how many things they've made for this recreation....if its a lot...tells me Hot Toys obviously has some sort of capability to mass produce these things on a bigger scale than we first thought?

IIRC, they did say that... and something about using 50 or so stormtroopers as well....

I don't think the question has ever been if hot toys can recreate/mass produce these. Pretty sure we know they can. They made 6 full 1/1 hulkbuster suits in a short window. The question is if it will sell at a price and in the amount that makes its a smart business move. Worth the risk. It's not that they can't. Never was that

Yeah, I just noticed the stripes on the floor to the left and right that HT has recreated in their dio. Nice eye for detail!

I wonder if this will be at other shows? Would be pretty expensive to ship.
