And when you compare the 5ft to the 32" model their are also a number of differences... I don't think HT is going for a 100% accurate piece, why would they when something like this is impressive just because it exists.

And, at this point I haven't seen any evidence to suggest there are any interior details like a detailed hold, turret or even cockpit.

"I want a replacement! I think the styrofoam packing damaged the ship. It looks all banged up!"

"......it's the friggin' Falcon. What were you expecting it to look like?"

Good Lord! :thud:

If the show falcon had the detail of the cockpit, including parts all having been made with custom moulds, I don't think there's any way it could have been produced for less than a few million and they'd have to sell many of them at over $100k just to break even. ;)

See above. This is a scratch build and has little to nothing to do with production, what HT is famous for. Taking a scratch built object and turning it into a production product is an entirely different ball game. ;)

Well thanks for that lesson Ms. Debbie Downer! lol. j/k. :lol

This is pretty much my reaction to this thing, too:

HAHA Hilarious! :rotfl

If they made them for sale, I'm sure they would sell. I'm sure there a lots of rich collectors out there.

I imagine if you could swing a 1/6 Falcon you could also swing the space for it... and I possess neither.

I would fit in my living room or garage though, however those spaces are ear-marked 10 of the upcoming AT-STs :lecture

That would depend on where they live. You might be able to afford it in CA but the cost of land to have a room could be 10x the price of the Falcon. :lol

I read this will be a custom to order piece but im sure this will cost several thousands of dollars like maybe the cost of a beemer ot even a Porsche i think dimensions i read 18' long 15'wide and stands just under 4 feet high not sure if height includes the death-star floor base.

Agreed.

The most I'd pay for one is $10K. But if push came to shove and the run was limited I might go $15K.

sorry to see you go honey..................
but i need the space for my new toy................
on the bright side i'll miss you...............maybe not

Do I hear 50k?
