I wonder if the figure is already made...
Those don't look like lovingly posed proto images. But rushed pics of an actual item. They rarely, if ever, show proto images where you can see wrist pegs, or with clothing so badly futzed.
Also, it's rare to see the proper cutlines on a headsculpt that has swap out hair(On proto images).
I have a hunch that this might turn out to be like that IM2 Tony stark that was put up for PO when the figures were already on the boat to Sideshow.
The day after the PO went up, it was released at Secret Base.
Of course, i could be wrong.

I plan on the standard Imperial outfit... but like Jyn, I might find that I actually like the rain poncho better in hand. I do like the hat. But the hat does make him seem somewhat more subordinate.

I'm surprised as hell they actually made it and the look is fantastic. This will look great next to Tarkin and I'm really hoping to get a Galen Erso as well especially with his costuming to flank Tarkin. Gives me hope for a Cassian figure still as well.

Yeah I have to agree the posing and pics are pretty sloppy and nowhere near as good as we're used to seeing from HT. Although that may just be because this was a figure they threw together pretty quick due to demand, and not one that's been in the pipeline for ages like most of their figures.

This may be a case where the final blogger pics look a whole lot better than the proto ones.

Well, everything fades, no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Hat seems like the least of issues, I’d be scared about the pristine white tunic. That thing will most definitely go yellow over time....

HT has already covered themselves with that in their descriptions by saying "beige" rather than "white".

Biggest risk to that would be the presence of glue or copper wires, like ANH Han's shirt for example. The fabric itself...I suppose it could yellow over time but it may take a *very* long time for that ... near as I can tell no DX04 white shirts have yellowed yet. I'm betting synthetic fibres may last longer than cotton.

I agree, I think the boots are too tall, it’s hitting in a awkward cut of the pants causing it to flair way more than it should. May just need tucked in but it just looks rediculous. Like a 5 year old posed a Dollie.
