Krennic's outfit is a grey cream. The rain poncho is even more creamy.

Yeah I?d say more cream with a tiny tiny hint of yellow. I?ll try and get some day light pics of it in the coming days

I think grey cream probably describes it best. I don't see anything that feels like a "slight yellow hue" (as in very subtle yellow spray added as a kind of light weathering is what the reviewer seemed to be describing) added to a white uniform though but I guess it depends on what screen you're looking at it on. In the more daylight scenes I'd almost argue it's more toward a subtle bluish hint than a yellowish.

The rain coat almost has a darker taupe-grey cream look. It's noticeably a different and darker shade to the uniform which Ht sorta got right.

My guess is that these types of subtle shades of white/taupe/grey (and maybe yellow) would be almost impossible to match and HT seems to have done as close a job as you could expect on a mass produced fig.

Yeah it?s definitely not that color.
Here?s 2 pics under 2 different lights.
One is more of a warmer bulb, the other ikea white led light strip.

Color does indeed look a hint too yellow instead of being a hint of gray. In hand I don't think it will bother me much, I hadn't noticed until it was brought up here.

Funny how things like that are present in the prototype, yet I don't remember hearing a peep about it. Then the figure shows up for real and the real scrutinizing begins.

I wouldn't take much note of the grey in the rain poncho in the shot on the left. Look at the colour of the grass. Clearly the imagine colours have been modified.

Definitely yellow. Perhaps a very light gray RIT dye soaking will help.
Maybe I'll go with this;)

Rit dye occured to me too but I don't think it will be nearly a big enough issue for me to even try/risk. I would have to see some pretty tremendous results from someone braver than I am. Perhaps someone planning to dye the costume a different color for a custom will give it a try first.

Yeah its color is nothing I?m worried about. I liked it on the proto and here. I do really like the material used on it. Nice feel to it. Still the only gripes are the hand options, short sleeves and that damn base sticker being applied out of the box. I will probably remove it so its uniform with the rest. So odd they did that. My guess is different factory maybe

Well, I think we just think back and remember Krennic's uniform as being white so none of this matters that much.

This type of white/off-white/grey color is always tricky - think of the whole thing about the ATAT driver in ESB's armor actually being a middle grey instead of "Kenner white." And yet I prefer the white look on that armor and was confused as to why it would have been grey.

I think they computer-enhanced the green on that planet to make it looks a bit sci-fi because that's how it looks onscreen. But even if you de-saturate the colors in the image the rain poncho still looks like that...

Great pics, irezumi, keep them coming. Hows the tailoring on the suit compared to Tarkin? Does it seem like the same material?

It's supposed to be pink!

Yeah, I'm fine with the color, the grayish hue would have been preferred for accuracy and maybe just aesthetically since it's maybe more imperial than a cream but the figure just looks fantastic even with the flaws.

The poncho look is likely how I'll display him, maybe in hand the cape will change my mind but capes are usually a total PIA to get looking right.

Reminds me of the color of Hoth Leia's outfit.

Left over material clearly. :lol

Thanks TonTon!
No the material differs from Tarkins uniform, Krennic's tunic has more weight to it(thicker material).
Articulation at the legs also differs on both figures as Tarkin's designed to sit in his chair whereas the tailoring in Krennic's trousers is restricted due to cut n sew.
The Krennic tunic doesn't have the velcro tab on the right hand shoulder.
