Thanks guys :D

Awesome pics love the display I can?t wait to get mine but I?m struggling on which costume I should do, the Cape or the poncho

The switch is probably the easiest out of all costume swaps.

Looking good D R37:clap

Brilliant shots, D.R.37. :clap

Can't wait to get this.

He?s a most welcome addition.

Really having fun with Krennic.

I think the cap still works with the cape even if not screen accurate.

All the Rogue One figures have been fantastic so far, but Krennic and DT's are my favourites.

Great Job Hot Toys on Krennic!

I?ll be passing on him though. Don?t think he fits in my collection. Can?t believe I?ll just have a Deathtrooper Deluxe from one of my favourite movies.

Best head sculpt in my collection. A touch above Tarkin considering they de-aged him by 12-15 yrs.

My dream set up is becoming a reality :yess:
Just need one more for the Lah'mu intro/farm scene. I have another Specialist still boxed and waiting on the Mando version... 2021-2022?

This is certainly the dream setup. Excellent stuff !!!

That headsculpt really is superb. Pretty much on-par with Tarkin, which was almost eerie to see in person - like Peter Cushing shrunken down it was so real.:clap Looks to be as much a home run as Tarkin.

I do wish HT would paint the rank badge colors more completely though - they underpaint to a point where the colors look too small. Same with Tarkin.

They are supposed to be complete red and blue plexi cubes glued onto a metal plate. Even if still not enough, the red/blue on the proto were more completely painted...

Hah I didn?t notice that before... thanks :( :lol But I don?t think I would be able to paint those tiny details any better. I?ll just turn a blind eye to that.
When Tarkin released the likeness was uncanny, but even more so with Krennic considering he wasn?t idealized like they did the Grand Moff. Ranking of the best SW sculpts - that I own - Krennic, Tarkin then ANH Leia.

Paul, irezumi wonderful shots. He looks fantastic.

:hi5:
I just need a TkHoody999 Assault Tank Commander now! :wink1:

He definitely needs a water treatment. I did it once (below) but will wait for it to fully dry and probably do a couple more passes until it sits correctly. This is my favorite look so the cape and hair-piece go back in the box.

Krennic with all the Death Troopers is an amazing display! Can't wait

Actually the Rank bars contained plastic push buttons as found in control rooms of power plants etc they are clear with a white insert.

Once you'd pushed enough buttons in the Imperial control room, you got promoted and took your buttons with you. The more buttons you pushed, the higher your rank.:lol

That cosplayer rank badge is not hugely accurate - the buttons seem too large in comparison to the backing, and the buttons don't seem quite narrow enough. Though by ROTJ the quality control on the costume rank badges had really gone downhill a lot.

But yeah, it would have been great to have seen HT use real clear/color plastic for the rank badge buttons. They're fine and a nitpick for sure but neither Sideshow or HT have done a great job matching the look of the Imperial rank badge imo. Beyond the pretty basic uniform there's really only the belt and the rank badge that defines the look, so the badge is more important than you'd think.
