I thought it would never end!
Promise....done..
So, you're a carpenter...
That display is going to look really nice....no doubt about that...
But when I think of the new Batman movies, I imagine "High Tech".
Not that the good wood won't look classy, it always does, I just keep picturing a higher tech, carbon fiber, chromish, glass, metallic with sharp edges and shiny display case for him, maybe surounded with some sharp looking rocks in the background as the bat cave....
Yeah, something like that....
Yep, I'm a carpenter and as far as those elements you mentioned, I'm including some of them in this design already. Like I said, I'm far from done with it. It's just a baby right now. It'll have more of a classic look when I'm done but still have a very TDK feel to it.
My batman doesnt seem very stable. I'm pretty new to articulated figures and I was just wondering if you guys have any tips to get him to stand up without the stand. Is it just a matter of patience?
Ouch ouch ouch, jye4ever. Major bummer. At these prices I'm too scared to be a little careless with them.
I agree about the Takara, I've bumped the desk and he still remains standing.
Not just you.
Most of the reviews i'm reading pays kudos to the well articulated ankles, which they are BUT most fail to mention that with that articulation comes weakness unlike the Takara which has tank for ankles, that bad boy never falls down, no need for a stand with him.
It's my main complaint with the HT, mine already took a dive and broke 2 of the right arm gaunlet blades (thank god at the base so easily repaired) and it was a face dive no less so i'm just happy that the pointy noise didn't go flat!
Someone on here gave a solution to use kleenex and toilet paper inside the boot. I still have to try. Right now i'm using that not so great stand.
The stand can actually begin to leave a mark on the rubber in the inner thighs if your're not careful.
Belive me, i'm not ragging on the HT, it kicks butt!
Just don't feel that your're alone with those wobbly ankles.
Heck, I would also have wobbly ankles if I was in Hong Kong jumping off high rises into windows.
See, it fits the movie perfectly so it's ok. We fans will always find a reason for any defects.
But no neon lights...
please..no shumacher batman ever ever again....
