Thanks guys, after seeing the new version sculpted for the BR version I noticed the original V1 jaw line was too thin and the mouth didn't have the proper scarring or the pouty upper lip that Heath had, and the distance between the nose and top lip was too large. So with a little magic sculpt, patience, and a new paint app I think it looks much closer to Heath than before.

Nice work!
It certainly does look better :D

Here's my Hat Toys V1 figure with the newly replaced V2 head sculpt, personally very happy with it and it fits on the body like a glove. Only problem was the neck joint connector is different, so I had to work that out.

How did you get them to go together, is it easy? I'l be doing the same thing with mine once my new head arrives.

Anyone having a ridiculously difficult time taking off Batman's interchangeable hands? When I pull off the fists that he comes with, the wrist peg doesn't stay in the forearm. I can't pull that off the fist for the life of me. What are some solutions?

I pull them out with my teeth, but I'd suggest pliers, I wish each hand had its own peg.

I got The Joker and Batman in the mail today, and I can say without a doubt these are my favorite figures. This is the DEFINITIVE Christian Bale Batman figure. I only hope we get a Keaton one of similar quality in the near future.

I was at the local HT dealer today and the owner was taking pics of this 2nd run of Original Batman for the website and the first thing I noticed was the cowl sculpt has lighter skintone, paler and not as tan as mine (1st run). A good thing cause I always felt my Batman is a little tan.

Second thing was the cape seems thinner, and hangs better.

There might be other improvements but these two are the most obvious to me.

That's not something I'd like to hear as an owner of the 1st version :lol

After TDK a Keaton Batman from the Batman and Batman Return Movie will be great by Hot Toys.

Amen to that...

Now, regarding a V2 Original Costume Batman.....dang....

Mine is still wet behind the ears.....

Plus i'm done with 12 inchers.....saving money for "Premium Formats" from here on out..No Iron Man for me regardless how good he looks (and that he does, go Hot Toys, go Hot Toys).

Well, ok......except for Batmans, Jokers and Tumblers that is....

:p

P.S. anyone want to sell me their "exclusive" PF Capt China...err...America...

and you physically had v1 on hand to compare?

I do not have my Batman on hand to compare but with my Batman next to my laptop everyday, the cowl head skintone difference is really obvious to me. Now, I am just talking about the cowl head. As for the Bale head, I am not sure as he wasn't taking pics of it that time.

As for the cape, I can tell the outer part is made of similar but slightly different material. Thinner to me but hangs better.

All these are really just minor improvement. Unless you actually have two different run on hand, I doubt anyone can actually see the difference.

HT have been known to make improvements to subsequent runs i.e AWE Jack Sparrow, apparently different runs have different skintone too.
