After seeing all of announced figures: Luke, Maria, etc....I am glad I picked this up. I have been picking up convention exclusives for a while now. I like to get one a year. So far I have Gordon, Special Project IM, Midas, and now this. I'm glad it is still available. I just want everybody to be able to purchase the figure they want.

Cereal Box figures. :rotfl That's a good one, I love this figure and ordered it immediately but that's the most accurate description I've heard yet for these "mini figs." The cereal figs are going to stay in my box unfortunately.

:lol I was tempted to call them 'Happy meal' figures but that would be insulting to actual Happy Meal figures.

I'd rather it be packed with the cereal. At least I could get use out of that. These minifigs do nothing for me.

I'm excited, pre-ordered it immediately. I always liked the heart breaker mold, but wasn't ready to pull the trigger. The colors on this guy just look awesome, and I happen to like the "cereal box" figures, they are what sealed the deal.

I also got Maria Hill, although I'm a little disappointed she hardly has any accessories. I'm just happy there is another female to bolster the ranks, and will go well with my Fury and Coulson.

Surprisingly I have little interest in Shotgun. He's unique compared to the other Iron Men, but otherwise not interesting enough for me... yet.

I bought it too. Who knows which exclusive goes big regardless. I won't be missing anymore !!

Anyone with pictures? He is out there now....Photos????

I have a difficult time deciding on this one. When I first saw IM3, I loved the design of the heartbreaker suit, yet I just couldn't pull the trigger when hot toys came out with the figure (no reason other than I think the novelty just sort of wore off for me by that point). I like Tank's color scheme a lot more, but I'm not sure if I'll remain excited about it long term. The mini figs are irrelevant to me, but the fact that it's an exclusive does make me pause (possible resale value down the road?). I think I'm going to plan on passing on this guy for now unless there is a decent coupon/ discount. The prices on these figures nowadays definitely give me reason to pause and reconsider - I think it's probably best for me to stick the ones that I know I really want. Congrats to those who PO'd it though - it is a kick-ass looking figure!

If you're interested in resale value, you MIGHT have a reason to go ahead and buy Tank. If Tank is anything like Python (2014 Toy Fair Exclusive, whose current estimated worth on eBay is around $440) and Midas (2013 summer exclusive, whose current estimated worth on eBay is around $500), Tank will be worth a lot in a few years. If anything, you could pick it up, leave it completely boxed up, and post it on eBay next summer for $450 or more, and someone would likely buy it. Again, this is assuming it follows the trend that Midas and Python started.

Yeah that's what has been the big draw for me is seeing the spike in resale value for those previous exclusive figures. Crazy how much they have appreciated!

These are not as good of an investment as some people think.

For instance, most of the Pythons that sell are in the $450 range with free or cheap shipping.

International buyers normally take advantage of that.

SO

I paid $290 for my Python

If you deduct $60 which is the average for international shipping

and $45 for the 10% fee ebay takes

and $18 for the 4% Paypal takes it leave you with a profit of about $37 which is ok but you're not going to put the kids through college,

BTW: I can't even sell my Mark 7 SM for $459 with free shipping because some sellers are letting then go at cost, which means after the fees they will have lost money

Free shipping doesn't always(and often excludes) cover international. eBay fees for selling are not 10%. I sell a fair a bit and i have never paid a fee like that. In fact most of my listings are free. So I'm not sure why you are paying so much. I don't think eBay would be around or have the business it does if every sale had at least a 14% fee. (You said 10 for eBay and 4 for paypal).
Final value fees on eBay for a several hundred dollar figure have been 10% for me. I do usually get free listings though.

At this point I wouldn't consider Tank a great investment. Remember Midas and Python sold out quickly. Only time will tell though. May sell out and shoot up in value once the blogger photos hit. I saw it in person at SDCC and it was pretty cool looking.

You're trying to flip your Stealth figure at the exact moment 50 other people are, what do you expect?
