To the best of my knowledge, I fail to understand why has HT yet not included a light-up feature in the feet too? These are supposed to be screen-accurate, huh? Then friggin' give 'em light up repulsor/thrusters in the feet, Howard! :cuss
I appreciate what you are saying and don't disagree, but it's such a pain in the a$$ to turn on all the light-up features in these figures that I truly wonder how many collectors ever use them. I don't even have that large of a collection and if I turned on the lights on all of mine, it might take me an hour!

Now I'm wondering how much I could sell the mini figures and repulsor blaster things for on Ebay? If the figure is $300 and I can sell all that crap for $50, basically I'm getting my $250 figure that I wanted.

The final box.

Well, the next step or improvement hot toys must do is a remote function. Imagine turn on all iron man lights with one remote controller. But this feature will add to the price tag.

Honestly I'd much rather they take out all of the light features and make the figures less expensive. I never, ever use them at all.

Factor in eBay's cut on both your sale and shipping charge and you're prob better off moving it here.

If that could be paired with inductive power to eliminate the batteries and just have a power emitting base that can be plugged in then yeah, for sure.

So the response here so far makes this one seem like a flop.
I thought the Hot Rod would be a flop but it got a great reception here and sold out quick.
Im guessing it will sell out based on it being limited.

Really like the design of these boxes. As for the figure, it's neat but I think HT is getting a bit silly with the gimmicks. The chest blast thing in particular looks atrocious. I was sort of withholding judgment with Mark XLV as I figured they're trying something new to differentiate the releases but it just cheapen the overall look. (Which seems to be the general consensus, anyway. I can only recall a small handful of people reacting with enthusiasm upon seeing any of these accessories, so it appears to be failing with their market.) Either save the money by excluding that stuff or put it into increasing the quality of the figure itself, IMO.

If they didn't include the blast parts it wouldn't be cheaper. It's a freebie they throw in. If you like it use it. If not don't.

The aggregate of all those blast and flight effects, junky stand and minifigs costs something, even if not much. Regardless, it just seems to me it's a failure on any level when a) no-one was asking for it and b) vast majority of people don't like it and won't use them. Why even include it if everyone thinks it looks like crap and keeps it in the box? That make sense to you? Maybe they should throw in extra office supplies and pocket lint into every box, too. :lol

Agreed, someone or multiple people were paid to design that junk and it costs to produce a couple thousand units of all it. Those costs all get passed on to us, so they ain't free by any stretch.

The mini statues look so out of place. Just terrible. They look like Tank shat them out his ***.
