Holographic figs, mini figs, horrible looking replusor thingies that don't light up, etc it's all fodder. Kudos to HT trying new ideas for fodder to be included with these sets to justify the ever inflating costs, too bad nobody is that dumb. If they included battle damage swap out parts from head to toe for each figure instead of this fodder nobody ever asked for their collectors would be happier to pay what they're asking.

Unless they're offering a version with just the Tank armor then they're also forcing people who want all the armors in 1/6 to pay extra for two figures they won't ever display.

True but in their minds they already have the completists - there will be complaints as usual but you know they will pay whatever the price is especially with the exclusive tag and it being Iron Man.

If this costs more than some diecast figures it might be a tough sell for even the hardcore completionists

Honestly it'll prob be $350 easy, straight exclusive repaints already command up to $300, the addition of mini figures with extra dynamic stand add ons are at least a $50 premium I imagine.

I feel that the mini figs are actually what makes this enticing. For me, the appeal of a number of the HPP "amalgam" suits is purely the color-palette diversity they offer when they're together, and the mini figs supply that color variation. And the forced perspective size difference adds visual interest. I'll likely be priced out, but I like this offering nonetheless.

Oh wow those are mini figures, I been thinking they where teasers of figure to come next.

$35,000 yen in Japan. Thats $285 U.S. Tack on the SS adds and it probably will be @ $350. But I doubt any more?

When I first saw the photos this morning, I thought the two mini IMs were the other two exclusives in the background.

Glad they won't be. Looking forward to the other two announcements.

as a completionist who has every numbered mark iron man (no stealth versions), i think im finally starting to feel the iron man 3 fatigue. this just isn't that exciting anymore. the mini-figs are stupid, as they will look our of place when displayed with the rest of your iron men (which means they will never leave the box). this one is probably a pass....until it goes on sale.

release the freaking diecast mark 3 already

They have done unique characters as exclusives before... why should that matter at all?
Hot Toys can do whatever the hell they want as an Summer exclusive.

Take Angelica for instance... completely new figure with original costume and headsculpt.
In comparison, Pepper, Agent Carter, Nebula or Maria Hill would all fit the same blueprint as her.

Maria Hill should be first in line, considering how many times the character has appeared on the
big AND small screen Marvel Universe.

SWAT Gordon was another, Joe Colton was yet another.

And ya know... something for us collectors that DON'T want every single armor that had 0.25 seconds of
actual screen time.

Gordon was the only one you mentioned that sold well. Angelica and cotton sold poorly and can still be bought brand new.

Iron man is a huge seller for hot toys and the Asian market. Hot toys makes most of their money from this market. Not the American market.

Hot toys don't like making female characters and have said this in the past on numerous occasions. They don't sell well. So the chance of Maria hill, Peggy carter and pepper Potts is so very slim.

Oh and hot toys won't make what you want so stop your complaining! If you and anyone else doesn't like Tank as an exclusive, why the hell even come to this thread. I'm sick of people complaining. Don't like it, don't look here. Some people actually like iron man.
