A friend of mine with HT connections said he saw pics of the Avatar figures, the chick and Jake, and he said they look pretty good. I asked him to sneak me in some copies of the pics, but he is being super trustworthy about not showing them around.

That means they are close to a reveal, but probably trying to get as many bugs out of them as possible so they don't have to read 20 pages of us hating on them like the Big Chap.

Thanks for that bit of info! After pages of posts comprised solely of either "want pics" or posts that confuse this thread with the dedicated discussion thread in the movie section, it's nice to get some kind of info.

Dude i love you in a non ____ way no offense to anybody who is ____, but that is fantastic news, neytiri and jake are being worked on and so we dont have to wait forever for each one. But yes ask them how tall they are.

Dude freaking lord of the rings won an award and you know what was going to happen thiers a book on whats going to happen, good conquers evil its the same plot. Also many fans act the same way heres what i see. People wishing they could be with a fictional character, people bashing people for not liking the same thing, people dressing and ACTING like the person thier pretending to be, People who stay in thier basment and marry a guild wife the list goes on.

I didnt read LOTR, so I didnt know what was going to happen. But that's different. LOTR is based off a book trilogy. Avatar is not based on anything...yet I knew what was going to happen next.

this film has got people going to the cinema again, instead of waiting for blu-ray. It's made it feel exciting or 'necessary' to see this film in the movie theatre instead of at home... and the film industry has to love that.

I'll be seeing it again in a couple of weeks. Cant wait

HT human Jake?? i hope not...popsicle legs wont sell that good, IMO. even if it comes with a wheelchair.

Well its easy to make a jake figure, just get a salvation head get a wheel chair, make skinny legs for him and thier you go.

^or better, make jake a muscled skinny(an oxymorn?) legs...no complaints for the lack of articulation, that would be a given for sure.

I really hope they do a Quarich along with Jake & Neytiri, Hot toys does amazing Military MMS stuff they could do a great Quarich figure like the Aliens USCM they did.
