Were you satisfied with the screentime of mark 85? I will get this one, but knowing it was the final suit of Tony, I thought they could've had more scenes with

Screen time yeah, but in terms of demonstrating the suit’s capabilities or upgrades over the Mark 50, no. IW really showed a lot of love to the Mark 50. On the bright side, there definitely won’t be a need for an accessories pack for this!

I think we may get an accessory pack. He's got a shield, a pair of those blasters he used against Drax. I think we also see variations of that flower thing on his back. A lot was happening when we finally see the suit in a fight so things are easy to miss.

Someone called it a few weeks ago that Thor would light up that back part to the 85 suit, that part was pretty cool.

Yeah I may have missed those moments... But regardless I won't be down for those weapons if they're released in an accessory pack since the basic figure already cost so much Still wished they'd given the 85 & warbuster more love though for the final battle scenes

Some characters did better in this film than they did in the previous one, and vice versa. Imo it was like both Cap and Thor each did a 180 in opposite directions.

And while IM was still great, his suits capabilities were one of the major highlights of the last one, and at least we got some Rescue action to make up for any shortfall, and of course that ending.

My last Iron Man from Hot Toys were the two Mark 43’s at 1/6 and 1/4 scale (and I forgot about the Hulkbuster). And I’ve also got the 1/4 scale Mark 3 on preorder.

But I’ve also purchased a few statues including the Iron Studios 1/4 Mark 43, 1/6 Mark 45, 1/4 Mark 46, and Sideshow’s Mark 3 Maquette.

Given the circumstances I really hope Hot Toys make some 1/4 scales of his defining suits in the future.

Fitting to get it since this is the last on-screen suit. One of the main reasons why I've chosen this over the Mark 7. Only hope HT don't gyp us with a battle-damage version with the Iron Man infinity gauntlet. Considering the price point, can we expect a handful of more accessories or just the one?

Now we know why the Russo’s said the Mark XL was the high point of suits. In IW he solo-ed Thanos w/gauntlet, in this one he got knocked out by GOTG Thanos! Still, picking it up definitive armor.

One of my favorite part of the movie was seeing Tony and Pepper in their suits, then the camera turns around them, each using all their blasts... Beautiful stuff.

Where were the other 34 suits? We're they in the end battle?

I love Iron Man Suit and I was even considering buying this once since this is the l..... of it.

But for Mark 85 they are going back to the same old style (43, 45, 46, etc...). Changing some colors here and their.
Mark 50 is different style, it shows a slimmer neck/face and alien look alike. That's make it different from any other armor (a big upgrade compared to it's Predecessor).

And that's why this Mark 85 looks just boring...

it kind of bummed me out that there wasn't the epic "suit-up" scene with this armor like we've gotten with so many before that, he just had it on when they went back to the Avengers 1 Stark Tower right? Still glad I got this on order for the final suit and hopefully the gauntlet is the added accessory

I like this one miles better than the look of the 50, the color and the bulk. It worked on screen better effects wise too, the 50 had too much "unfinished render" look to it. I'm not into the 1/6 DC pricepoint anymore but I'd add the Mk85 as a collection capstone if they did a 1/4 version

There was a suit-up scene though. Two, in fact. The first was during the Avengers 1 time heist, when Stark gets Ant Man in position before casually diving off the tower and nano-suiting-up midair. The second was the scene where Hulk uses the gauntlet, and Stark suits up and uses the energy shield to protect himself from the gauntlet.
