I'm sure all his starts start off like the Mk II. I know he's rich, but it might be little too gaudy, even for Tony, to make a suit out of gold:lol

He started using gold-titanium from Mark III onward :lecture

Not a fan of all the bullet holes. I don't really see why one would custom the Mark IV as BD too but I guess it's an okay idea. :monkey3

good to know, did I just miss that part when it was mentioned it the movie?

yeah its right before he goes to the event, he makes it gold so that it wont freeze up at high alts. so the silver scratches dont make sense. but do look better than gold scratches would haha.

In Iron Man 1 when he is telling J.A.R.V.I.S how to render the armor itself he states:

Tony Stark said:
Connect to the sys. co. Have it reconfigure the shell metals. Use the gold titanium alloy from the seraphim tactical satellite. That should ensure a fuselage integrity while while maintaining power-to-weight ratio. Got it?

cheer up, I've never lost any sleep over it:D
If you're going to just take it out of the box and stick it on your shelf in it's default pose never to be touched again, why don't you send the figure to me and I'll print and mail you a photo of it to hang on your shelf instead.

actually, that sounds like a plan. Would you take these off my hands as well while we're at it?:D

I love how the arms tuck in behind the chest piece. Creates a greater illusion of a dude in a suit. Like the arms are coming out of the chest, not just stuck on the side like the M 2 and 3.

I never get tired of 4 things:

1. Looking at HT Mark 1
2. Looking at Naked Girls
3. Drinking Beer
4. Looking at HT Mark 1 and Naked Girls together while Drinking Beer

Nah, not interested in those figures. Sorry :D

Yup, they've really come a long way in a very short amount of time. Hopefully the shoulder rockets on the Mark VI don't mess up how the arms connect to the body because they're perfect on the Mark IV.

How do you feel about the IV overall Spanbauer? I noticed you're usually pretty hard to please when it comes to IM figures but it seems that you're pretty satisfied with this one with little to criticize which means it has to have seriously improved over the old ones in your eyes!
