its weird that on the battle damaged ones its always grey scrathes that show through the thing was originally all gold, and then he added red. so wouldnt the scratched be gold?
I'm sure all his starts start off like the Mk II. I know he's rich, but it might be little too gaudy, even for Tony, to make a suit out of gold
He started using gold-titanium from Mark III onward
good to know, did I just miss that part when it was mentioned it the movie?

Tony Stark said:Connect to the sys. co. Have it reconfigure the shell metals. Use the gold titanium alloy from the seraphim tactical satellite. That should ensure a fuselage integrity while while maintaining power-to-weight ratio. Got it?
how did he make the bullet holes?
they look really well done.
If you're going to just take it out of the box and stick it on your shelf in it's default pose never to be touched again, why don't you send the figure to me and I'll print and mail you a photo of it to hang on your shelf instead.cheer up, I've never lost any sleep over it

Heat up a piece of wirehow did he make the bullet holes?

actually, that sounds like a plan. Would you take these off my hands as well while we're at it?/QUOTE]
Nah, not interested in those figures. Sorry
Yup, they've really come a long way in a very short amount of time. Hopefully the shoulder rockets on the Mark VI don't mess up how the arms connect to the body because they're perfect on the Mark IV.I love how the arms tuck in behind the chest piece. Creates a greater illusion of a dude in a suit. Like the arms are coming out of the chest, not just stuck on the side like the M 2 and 3.
