Best Iron Man to date!! :thud:

[finally, pics doing justice to the sculpt]

Yep, agree. One of my favorite figures!

@ mrclean08: Is it necessary to repeat myself? ... (See the thread dedicated to Mk6) :D

:clap:clap:clap

I think I like mk IV the most. I have IV, mech test, vi, and secret project. I think I'm going to sell 3 of them as I really just want 1 iron man. Can't decide though :/

Well VI looks tougher, is tougher, and was used in a real fight.

*cough*

i know, I love the battle damage and upgraded suit on the mark vi. I just want to keep my tony head and dont really want to part them out, I want to sell them as full figures if i have to sell them. i like the triangle chest, the battle damage, the better build of the figure on the mark vi. on the iv, i like the tony head, and it is really just a lot better than the iii. maybe that is why i liked it, it was so better than the iii. maybe i will keep my vi. cant decide.

I've got MK's I to V and I think they're all different enough to warrant keeping. MKIII BD is the definite weak link but I reckon pairing him off againt Iron Monger will distract the attentionion away from its deficiencies:lecture

i would think that the regular iii is the week link, terrible tony head sculpt, and the iv seemed to improve on the suit. I would think the BD iii would be more popular. mech test is surely different, and I really like him, I just think I would like to sell him so I can make some money so I can buy the hot toys luke dx when it comes out. Also because I have a custom tony with the mark iv tony head, and I only need 1 tony, and 1 iron man

Sounds like a plan right there. I agree, realistically if you're working to a budget and/or limited space, you only need one 'definitive' IM suit. I think i'm just trying to justify the fact I suckered myself into buying them all:monkey4:lol
I do have a major man-crush on robot/mecha style collectibles though.

so what is your opinion on the definitive suit? Is it the VI? I really cant decide on which one to keep. I wish the VI came with the tony head. I may have to sell the mark iv without the head :cuckoo:

Tricky question. If its based on the current crop of Hot Toys suits, you'd have to go with the MKIV because its the closest to the traditional look we most associate with the comic (circle arc reactor) and its the best proportioned and engineered (along with MKVI) Some prefer the MKVI extremis look though.
Originally, I P.O'd the MKVI as I liked the triangular arc over the traditional circle and it seemed different enough to my MKIII to warrant purchase. The more in hand pics I saw of the MKIV though, the more it grew on me so I switched orders at the last minute and never looked back :)
Whatever the case, one thing's for certain, there's always another around the corner! :thud:
I think the MKVI is back in Avengers so it should get a re-release and from what i've seen, the MKVII looks like IV on steroids! ... lets not forget IMIII will have another couple of suits minimum ...
