They're very different. Really nothing other than the helmet and coloring is similar. It's hard to give a run down of differences since there's not really any similarities. The most different part is the legs which have a more human shape.

That is what he did IMO. Replacing the chest piece and reïnforcing the arms and legs with the new parts, because of his increased strength...
