Thats why I tried to make sure I took good pictures showing that War Machine is pretty damn awesome.

I had no doubt that I was going to display this sucker with the Stark head. Hell thats the reason I order this guy but then this happens... What a bad ass pose. All bets are off now.

That is stunning...

Again, anyone with the figure in hand, if they could answer this for me: Is that a brighter red than the more maroon looking Mark's that have been released?

Thanks in advance.

Is that a brighter red than the more maroon looking Mark's that have been released? By far, IMO, the best looking of all the HT Iron Men. And to think, many of you blasted this figure and said you were by passing it. HT brings you back in...

Dude i don't think this fig was ever "blasted" and if it was,it was certainly not by many ..the VI was probably just more appealing to those people, not everyone can afford both of them so one of them must be passed on.

This thing is gorgeous. I love that the red is different to further stand out from the Mk III and it'll look fantastic next to the Mk VI.

I agree. This vibrant red (or what appears to be a more brighter hue) is more appealing to me.

I am getting this and making a custom scaled giant donut for him! Really I am. :lol

Out of all these crazy action poses I think that the lying on a Donut with the Stark head on is the way to pose this figure. I'd buy it if I had room for a donut. :lol

Is anyone else worried that the clamp style stand it comes with will leave marks? or does it come with a regular one that I haven't seen?

Is there a reason you can't just change up his pose whenever you feel like it?

Not really a reason, just a preference I suppose. I just usually pick one set of accessories and display style and keep the figure that way after I put it on the shelf and after that they stay that way. I don't swap out heads or anything after I've decided on the one I like better.

:exactly: Totally agree there. Once I've picked the bits out, there they stay. Changing poses every other day doesn't really do it for me but that's coz I'm boring and I've just got my guys all in pretty neutral stances :)

You guys could probably save thousands of dollars a year by buying less figures and instead spending more time with the ones you purchase. Taking it out of the box and sticking it on the shelf never to be touched again just leaves you wondering when your next pre-order is going to ship.

What I also like about the Mark 4 , is how the curve on the chest plate gives the illusion of pectoral muscle which makes him look more human and really conveys a man wearing a suit rather than just a robot
That's the one thing I miss on the Mark VI. Hopefully the triangle chestplate is just bulkier overall to compensate for the flatter look.

The more you touch the figure the bigger the chance you will break something ..that's how i see it anyway:)
