Hot Toys - IRON MAN - MARK II PHOTO Thread

got my iron man mk 2 a couple days ago, and mine has the paint issue from a few pages back. not as pronounced but definitely there. they can't be rubbed off, and they appear more in the right light. around the same area that that bad toy-world one was in. can't seem to capture it well on my crappy camera either. also, the guard over the right foot was snapped off before i even opened the box. my seller is currently looking into it by contacting HT for me.

so much for HT's QC.

these things are sooo fragile!...I'd already managed to break my Edward Scissorhands figure and they just arrived today/yesterday!......

I wrote to my vendor (toys2) because of my Mark II came with a broken leg. They said they contacted HT but they were on hollydays last week. So far, I got no response yet. I wrote to Hot Toys before, but not even a single word. So, good luck and as I said before, I hope they solve your problem.

back in the day, i remember hot toys' customer service being much better. but now they've got bigger and they know their toys will sell like crazy, they seem to care less. i hate to see that. if sideshow can at the very least respond to all complaints and issues, why can't HT?

This is the third time I receive a BROKEN item from HotToys.
Mi Iron-man Mark 2 has a broken leg.
I can't understand what happen with their quality control. The box is in perfect conditions, so that means no big hits in the shipping process. That means the item was already broken when the put it in the box.
I can't believe how much that kind of thing really cost me.
I live in South America, so: the price of the figure 160 + the shipping to my country $90 + the returning shipping $50 + the shipping to my country $90.
TOTAL: $390 for a $160 figure (or defective figure). My god!
Hot Toys is really, really great. I'm a huge fan of them, but this kind of things really hit me in the face and for the third time.
Sorry about that, but I needed to tell someone who really understands me. And those guys are you, the collectors.

I'm really pissed off, because it happened with some items from Medicom too (Darth Maul with broken head, Spiderman hand with broken peg, Peter Parker with broken leg, What happens with legs?. But I can't believe it happens with Hot Toys. I really had BAD BAD BAD LUCK.

My TDK Bats broke his leg as well and I hardly posed him....
Who would have thought that they would break too?

anyone knows what kind of glue HT uses!?...the magnet for the alternate head fell off(the one on the chin) and I'm afraid to use krazee glue to fix it!!!...any help!?

..same thing happened to my ABE!!..dammit!....breathing apparatus broke!..WTFF!!!?...

One of the magnets on mine was loose so I picked it off and restuck it with SuperGlue gel, stuck like rock now.

It definitely doesn't have the Dark Knight hype crowd, but there was some excitement when SS imported the Mark III. I understand why there is a lot less for the Mark II since its pretty similar to the Mark III. The Mark I should stir up some excitement when it releases.

not delicate my ass that rocks!...abe's breathing apparatus fell apart and the team logo patch peeled off!...the MK II figure is okay!..it was just the magnet that popped out from the alternate head's chin....it's the firckin' glue that they used!

They are delicate. My Mark III came with a broken right foot. The ankle joint was very loose. I was able to fix it.....sorta......but for the money paid it should have come perfect.

Sounds weird? Mine was alright. I think there was less problem with the mark 2 compared to the mark 3.
