My wife is a Mr. Bean fan so I purchased the Bean figure for her when I saw it go on sale at BBTS. I am glad she liked it. It is so rare I buy an “ordinary” figure like that so I had an idea…I hope you find the photos amusing.

Nice work on your mods Wor-Gar. I almost want to glue the mouth shut on mine, but since I did take the (scary!) risk with mine and the tongue change out, I think I will leave it. But you sure make the arguement for closing it. Great job.
Again, look for a Krylon Silver Leafing pen for the teeth. They used to found as easily as at Walmart, but maybe not so anymore. I do see them at art supply shops and online, even on Ebay.

Frankly, I love this figure, even if, as some continue to say, it is not hyper accurate to the original, the paint on the rubber is very fragile and that freedom of movement is limited . I started making albums of my figures (it takes time these stagings).
It's because of Agen: I found his photos so beautiful, and then, what better for a figure to become "alive"?!
Sorry for the resolution, but as I have no blog or subscription on any site hosting the pictures, I am limited to 800x600 and 97.7 KB, you know.

yes the Krylon Silver Leafing pen. I found it at Michaels.

I finally got mine today -- just chromed the teeth!

The pen is a little tricky to use because it has a large flat tip, so you have to work carefully not to chrome the lips. But the finish is beautiful.

I had used a silver sharpie just temporarily so the change from some of my other pics isn't as dramatic as going from HT paint to Krylon.

The last pic to the right is really looking like the alien at last.

Those shots look awesome WG. I noticed a problem with mine if I go the closed mouth route is that the teeth don't line up well enough to get the mouth that closed.

I don't want to try it and then mess it up.

Mine didn't either at first. You have to work the jaws a little. Just keep pressing and shifting and you'll find the sweet spot.

COOL! Glad you went for it. And yes, it really does make a world of difference in the look. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MOD.
