I've said this before, but I wish the flames were painted on instead of being translucent plastic. Gives it a bit of a Hasbro feel to me.

Great- just great. Passed on getting this but saw the Youtube opening of the box and now- preordered from AE- get there fast guys this one will probably sell out at AE once folks see these in hand pics! Looks fantastic!!!!

Looking back on the terminator endos and Martians it seem's hot toys do this with every skull like sculpt they do.

I love how on the Mars attacks figure you also have the tongue!

Forget that it looks cheap if you go the painted on look.

You think it would look cheaper if the flames were painted? HT has the best painters in the toy industry, IMO (maybe Enterbay rivals them. . .), and would fully expect it to look swankier if they went that route instead of using the gimmicky see-through plastic.

But, I guess we'll never know.

Without a doubt. It would look like something you get at Target or Wal-Mart. The translucent look gives it a feel and look of real flame and thats what I want. Not cheap crappy looking fire paint on my nearly $200 collectible.

Thank goodness we won't.

Nah its a nice sculpt and the paint looks good but won't be using it.

I'll use it for a couple photos and then, *plop* away it goes into the box.

This looks so much better that I expected. The LED feature is absolutely unbelievable. The bike is incredibly detailed and actually looks "on fire" in some in those pics. The extra shotgun was a very nice surprise also. Can't wait. I PO'd this about 4 months ago from AE, so I hope it comes in their first wave...
