Someone mentioned screwing up one of the guards on the back of the hands. Is there some trick to working with them? I'm not able to look at the manual right now but I wanted to ask before I forgot. I remember that they looked different from the ones on the Mark VI.

The design of the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark V is very unique, with silver metallic paint on the front of his armor which is segmented and really look as if it could unfold back into a suit case.

Seriously, it doesn't even look like they tried to make it shine. Why couldn't they add the coating they did to the red paint?

i noticed a slight dull patch on the left arm of mine, and from the position of it in the box i was wondering if it might have had some thing to with the silica gel pack thats in there as it sits right under the arm when in the box.
any thoughts ?

Awesome review! You mentioned the hand guards as being glued to the non articulated fist hand. Not happy about that. I hope that's not too common.
