Those are great, I need to get a few.

I actually like the color and thought it blended in well with the other colors

It was bound to happen, but this is my first bad experience with gohastings. I ordered this figure and I just received the box with all the accessories but no figure. I called customer service and they said they'll only give me full refund due to the "fact" that they don't have anymore instock. I just checked their site and it's still available.:cuckoo:

Damn! :lecture
For the short time that I've been collecting, I've always known gohastings to be a 'hit or miss' place to order from.
The needle definitely closest to the 'miss' side. :(

I've heard a few stories of figures being displayed at their B&M's, being returned to their boxes, and sold to someone over the internet. The prices are discounted, but you just never know what shape/condition the product will be in.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

how could they send it out and not notice a figure in it? that's the bulk of the weight. gohastings is soooo sketchy

They don't have the capability to do exchanges. I think one time one of the customer service reps did something special for me so I could repurchase the item with the discounted price after they processed the return and the sale was over, but they're not very organized. They also display the figures in the store. I've gotten a few where they had clearly been out of the package before. My bet is that you were sold one of the displayed ones and they forgot to take it off of display and put it back in the box when they sent it to you.

I ordered a Mark VI from them last summer, and when it arrived, it was clear that it had been previously opened and removed. The extra hands were loose and rattling around in the box. Thankfully, everything was there and in proper working order, so it worked out .
Last weekend, I placed an order for a Hot Toys Whiplash at $160, but had the order cancelled the next day. I was told it had sold at the store level before it could be pulled for the online order. I ended up getting a sealed one on ebay for around $200, received it yesterday, and in retrospect, that's what I should have done to begin with. IMO, it isn't worth the risk of receiving a figure with missing parts or wear from gohastings just to save a few bucks.

I'm afraid of their online store when it comes to hot toys. There is a B&M store kinda close to where I live (about 40min away) and last time I went there they had a HT Two-Face on display. I asked for one and they didnt have any others besides the display. I told them I'd take the display (the price was right) but they couldnt find the box and said theyd take an additional 10% off if I wanted it without the box or additional accessories. I passed but for some reason they had a sealed HT Thor and sealed HT Spidey on the floor (both marked far under retail) so I picked those up along with 3 narrow shoulder TT bodies. Their online store is definitely sketchy, but if you are able to make it in to a store, you never know what you may find not displayed. Another time I was also able to pick up a Medicom RAH Sweeney Todd for $15 and on their website they have it listed for 140-150.

next time take the figure out and tell them you just got the accessories in the box. Refund please :rotfl

The package was pretty dinged up bent flaps, dented corners, and such. I like the packaging on HT figures but if it's a little scuffed up I don't mind it's what's inside that counts. When I opened him up all I saw was the white of the figure tray where the figure should be. I first thought this is odd for HT. I've never seen packaging like that. Perhaps the figure is under this white section or underneath the tray. I figured if it was repacked you never know these people that work at such places sometimes don't know how to put these guys back. Once I removed the tray I realized there was no figure. It was kind of sad because I sort of wanted to cry. Imagine a grown man crying 'cause he didn't get his dolly.

Man, GoHastings is like a mystery portal. Money goes in, you don't know whats coming out. Could be your product, could be a Facehugger. You just don't know.
