@firebird: thanks firebird! I just can't picture a better partner to War Machine than the Mark VI (not even the Mark IV...and the Mark V looks anorexic next to WM) haha..
@nova-force: unfortunately yes...as a student I have limited funds and decided to only stick to 4 figures. I went for more of the Iron Man 2 line as i really love the movie's designs and think, at least imo, that the Iron Man figures will be most durable over the long-run. I only decided to get Cap cos' I loved the movie and costume design so much that it warranted granting the figure an exception to the Iron Man rule

Well so far you're off to an awesome start. It can only grow from here!!! I have my Cap on the way, and I"m probably going to get the MK5 the first of the month.

@cbr600guy: imo the figure is much more solid than the VI. The VI feels kinda flimsy and plastic-y as someone here noted

I haven't been on this thread in a while. Has anyone tried to chrome their Mark V yet? I was wondering how it might look with a better paint job.

I changed up the pose on my mark v, going for the part where he is about to crush Whiplash's arc reactor. Gonna try to put together a custom arc reactor. Whats in his hand now is temporary.
If anyone has any ideas on a arc reactor I'd like to hear them. I may try to sculpt one.

It's so hard to keep that rule sometimes! The keaton batman has me thinking twice about granting an exception already.....but of course, the bank account, as always, is unsupportive of another purchase

Just to share my friend repaint works, Custom paint Mark V battle damage. The grey color is repaint to be more metalic, and battle damage it so more accurate to movie.
