Does anyone know if HT are releasing a new version of mk V with metallic colour coating (much like mk II auv) rather than just plain grey colour for the parts.

I want to get the mk v, but will be annoyed if they release a better version sometime soon.

i figure if we dont see anything by time comic con happens then we should all be safe to say there isnt. iv been expecting a new 5 and bd3 but i caved and got the 5. the chrome areas dont bother me as much now that i see it in person.

At this point, the Mk.V is still relatively new compared to the release of the Mk.III.
I would expect to hear an announcement of a Mk.III ver.2 before a Mk.V ver.2.

Having said that, I will also add that you can never tell what's going on at Hot Toys or how they decide what gets released.
