Me too. The figure is awesome and the suit, scene and racetrack battle in IM 2 really catapulted the movie and the coolness of TS and IM character IMO. I still remember how excited I was when they showed the tv spots whit him putting on the suit. Still awesome to this day!

Got mine this week, very happy with it except that the color is washed out on the arms, more on one than the other. Have contacted my dealer about it.. take a look:

Was Mark V ever on sale/discounted price at sideshow?
I know he was on sale at hlj a long time ago, but the price after discount was still around the same price as sideshow.

I was just wondering if the iron man suits ever go on sale.

Unfortunately the USB ports on my laptop aren't working, so its hard to upload pics. Under the main chest plate and arc reactor, there is a small plate that can be swapped out for a battle damaged version. That small (maybe 2cm long, 1cm wide) plate slides onto a smaller plate that slides up and down. The spring is underneath that.

I hope so. The reason I was curious is because I popped off the sliding bit you're talking about, but I can't get it properly reattached. The spring is still intact and nothing is broken I just can't figure out how to seat the part. I don't know "what clicks into what." But that's just because I'm dense.

I've got it on there "okay" right now. It's not falling off but a solid bump would knock it off. The battle damaged bit is the same way. Good luck!

Found it!

Thankfully it didn't fly too far. I just needed hands, knees, a bright flashlight and a little patience. Of course I had a cat who loves to play with small metal bits helping me.

That little bit is a _____, and it was trying to figure out how to "clip it" that caused the spring to pop out.

Hand looks a touch creepy on its own.

And I'm aware that the spring SHOULD stay in, but when the plastic cover pops off while I'm trying to put the armor plate back on... well, let's just say it wasn't planned.

A little late to the game, but finally got my MK V from SS through flex pay, though this is probably the last time I'm gonna order an item that's been out for months from SS. Looked like it was a return item that got repackaged. Only major defect on this one I noticed was a deep scratch mark across the underpants.

I just wanted this to complete my IM collection, but, this is a really amazing figure and I'm happy with it.

I only need the MK1 to complete my collection for now, till the MKVII comes out.
