HT should've given the job to Sideshow.
At least with Sideshow the eyes would have been asymmetrical.

Seeing these all side by side just show me how off the HT sculpt is. The nose is too small, the lips are too big, the head's shape is too round. Nope. Looks way off to me, even more so than I thought before. Thanks a lot!
Those photos of Ford from ANH really show how well Hot Toys captured his likeness at the time of the movie.
Somebody should start thinking about commissioning custom hair pieces for this head.
At the moment, it's turning an otherwise 'decent' likeness into a Ruffalo-esque misfire.
Maybe when I get mine, I'll display it without the hair.
Lets see how the production version comes out, I have a feeling they won't tweak the sculpt itself, but they might fix the hair a bit.
Exactly. Ford looks surprisingly different in ESB, and that is what I keep seeing people compare this sculpt to, in regards to the likeness.
I personally think this is a great ANH Han.

Hot toys cares. They totally redid the Obi wan prior to preorder. I'm sure this will get a revisit.
Looks like a few folks in here have gotten a case of Stockholm syndrome with this Han figure. I guess if you stare at the spec pics and acquaint yourself with the look of the figure long enough, your mind gets used to the sculpt despite the fact that it looks nothing like Harrison Ford. Hot Toys' sculpt idealism and detail can have that effect on the mind.
Rest assured, it's still the same exact head with the crappy likeness, weird *** proportions, thick forearms and awful looking boots.

Fabs, with a spirited take, as usual.
BTW, it's Helsinki Syndrome. As in Helsinki, Sweden.
