I had to throw on A NEW HOPE and watch again and after watching. I still think Han n Chewy turned out AMAZING and very happy ,cant wait.

Looking forward see what you come up with Robbie. This figure will take time to futz....multiple visits to the shelf to get him and re-futz until your happy. More in hand pics will give us reference material to aid in getting the most out of this figure.

These two have exceeded my expectations. Sure Chewie's snout needs some attention (hopefully an easy fix) and futzing him is sooo easy, I really can't see any reason not to pick him up. It's a f'n 1/6 Chewie!!! We should be grateful a mass produced Chewie has even been achieved. As for Solo, I think it's stunning. No qualms over the sculpt, it's absolutely Ford to me.

No, but seriously. To Para and Goldo, what's the hair like on the face? Is it really glued down solid with no possibility of being pulled out or futzed at all?

From the looks of it, it's only the hair on the top and sides that can really be futzed with at all.

It's glued down solid. I've tried gently prizing it away but I'm waiting for someone far more talented at these things to show us how it's done

I think having the yes in shadow helps the likeness also. All of the good shots I've seen , you cannot see Chewie's eyes.

Maybe we can transplant some fur taken from elsewhere on the figure.

Well there's enough hair on the figure, that you could probably just take a few bits from here and there and have enough to fill out the chin.

Never thought of that, good idea.

I initially was going to cancel, but I think I will keep it. Even though we shouldn't have to mod a $250 figure, I will make an exception for this one. I think with some futzing and maybe a slight repaint of the fur here and there Chewbacca will look good. I'm now really looking forward to working on this one.
