I'm trying to see what everyone else is seeing. This still looks bad to me. That face looks bad no matter how you futz or change the hair. The eyes are so . . . wrong. I'm trying to justify keeping my preorder, but its not easy.

Yeah I still wouldn't say it's a great Chewie by any means, but more that it's a good enough stand-in until something better comes along (if it ever does), and that the rest of the figure looks so damn good it kinda makes it easier to overlook any issues with the head.

Yeah, the body looks great, but the head just ruins it for me. I'm sure Hot Toys will try him again in the future and I'm sure it will look much better.

I'm a little tempted to hold off for lower prices on ebay.... but my gut tells me far too many people have been waiting far too long for a 1/6th Chewie for too many to pass this one up, regardless of their momentary disappointment.

Army builders in the case of troopers. So many people have 3-5 stormtroopers. I've never seen anything like it. Even Pixelpiper will have three.

I'd even like to have a short stormtrooper (that would be my 2nd).

I think the sculpt would look good if you can keep pulling hair from both sides of his checks and little more from the chin.

Yes , easily , has a long thin neck post that fits up inside a hollow head, H did this to tease the fur away from under the chin. Then just pops back on ...

This guy looks incredible when you work the fur properly. I'd love to see someone make a Hoth Chewie out of this. Add some snow to that fur!
