Despite only wanting Chewbacca, the exclusive long rifle got me to order the set. Went with sideshow for the reward points and hoping they end up getting another exclusive with the set like with what happened with Rocket & Groot.

Skipping Solo, will most definitely get Chewy when he's released next spring. The photos completely meet my expectations, even if it's not perfect.

Now, do I display him with Hoth Solo or with the Droids? I'd still like to bash a smuggler Solo, but I know it'll be spendy to modify and paint another head sculpt.

Han seems a bit steep for what you're getting. Chewie is awesome. That said, I just cashed in all of my rewards points to get the set for $232.

Big Bad toy store may have it for the same price w/out the NRD but remember you get sideshow rewards which would be $24 back in rewards. Also the perks of getting it 1st way before other etailers and a no worries no hassle of fixing any problems with defects which after all hot toys seems to be getting much worse with their quality control.

Got 'em both... Han is a bit overpriced, but honestly at the top end of what I was expecting. Chewie is actually on the low end... so all in all happy with the purchase. And when you add the $5 off on both, getting an extra blaster and $24 in rewards points it's a good day

But you get the exclusive Stormtrooper rifle. I've gone for the 2-pack too. I'm all in for HT Star Wars. $480 is not too bad for 2 awesome figures and 2 exclusives.

Agreed... it'd be awesome if they were both under $200, but at this point I think those prices are reserved for lower interest properties and figures that come with next to nothing.

NRD in this case is ok with me. By April it will seem like I got a $45 discount.

Yeah, and the NRD is smart for Sideshow... now they at least can have an more accurate assessment of who will actually follow through on the purchase. The pack was smart... if they hadn't done that I would have ordered Han w/o the NRD and waited for a $20 code for both of them... but now Sideshow get's $40 more of my money, but I get $5 off and a blaster

Not sure if the extra heavy blaster is worth getting the two pack for. I don't really want to throw down the NRD yet is the main thing.
