That's the added urgency in getting the two-pack. You actually get three extras compared to the singles but they advertise it like the only added bonus is the big gun for Chewie.

The Han Solo EX comes w/ the other 2 items, it is only Chewies heavy blaster that is truly EX to the set.

Only from Sideshow. The rest of the world misses out on the exclusive stuff on Han. There is a whole wide world out there you know. :wink1: :)

All this makes the stormie belt being the exclusive on farmboy Luke even more painful.

yup for sure ;) just pointing out that is why they only show the blaster as being EX on the set. stuff on the EX's does make it more difficult for sure for everyone...sometimes the EX's are worth the extras, sometimes not, all depends on what they are at the time and how bad somebody wants them :)

It makes it even-steven. Can you imagine if you got one with Luke and didn't get one with Han? At least this way neither character knows they're missing anything. ;)

the stormtrooper belt and blaster can be had from hk too. Chewies long rifle is really the SS exclusive and not available from HK.

I'm not sure if I will get farmboy Luke at this point. I am thinking about making due with the Stormtrooper disguise head and the SSC farmboy setup, and have a TK-421 stormie.

Hoping sideshow gets ample amount for us all to have early hate split shipment's n waiting for my b day gifts to myself. I had my last flex set for August 25th but delayed not sure why other's flex'es didnt get changed to september but hopefully get that early process offer to ship any day now.:impatient: Come on make the jump to lightspeed n get here.:impatient::r2d2line

The Chewbacca long rifle is available in Japan through Hot Toys via Toy Sapiens. It isn't a world-wide exclusive to SS.

Chewie landed today with solo, He's outstanding in person, even out of the box, alas i always have to futz so here's the result of a quick futz tonight

Nice Job Stealth, you probably won't able to stop fixing the hair everytime you pick him up for a while. Its just one of those things..... your Chewie is looking great !

I found this review. Not sure if it is posted....

Huh, I've honestly never noticed before that Chewie was left-handed!

Although... looking at all the pics out there, he still seems to hold the bowcaster in his right hand every time, and only supports it with his left. So people can still pose it that way and have it look accurate.

So far my flex is still for set to bill next week. So my fingers are crossed. I was on board with this day 1 and am glad it turned out amazing. Bring it! Next is stormie Luke. Then Vader and Obi and Spacetrooper for me.

I got some kind of neck injury looking at the Han/Chewie pic. :lol

I just ordered the 2-pack from half way around the world. It's so strange to me that it works out cheapest that way. Had I not missed the boat on a certain EU dealer, that one would have saved me another US$30, but other than that Australia works out the cheapest. And the australians on the forum order directly from Sideshow, go figure. :cuckoo:

edit: The last line isn't a jab at the Aussies of course just an observation on the weirdness of it all.

I actually had a stormtrooper delivered yesterday....took four days from Australia to Tennessee...$213 usd shipped.

It's not as simple as that.

Sometimes us Aussies order from Sideshow direct to get an exclusive. Up until recently it was because Sideshow Direct was also quicker (up to 6 months earlier in release) and often cheaper (especially when we were at parity with the US dollar).

Right now is an interesting time because a lot of these figures were put up for PO when our dollar was higher so popcultcha had it's currency hedge on that order done at that rate. So in the example above, the reason it's so cheap to reverse import is the price popcultcha is charging is based on was a higher AUD exchange and with the dollar drop converting back to US is a windfall.

I ordered Han and Chewie from popcultcha because at current exchange rates it's over $100AUD cheaper than sideshow. Plus I used some points to knock another $50 off.

But that gravy train is heading to an end as recent PO's have been locked in at our new horrible exchange rate. Farmboy Luke is $349AUD and Stormtrooper Luke is $359AUD. Convert those back and they are more expensive than Sideshow.
