To be honest I didn't do that much I brushed under the chin to get rid of the muzzle (well most of it)
And brushed it at the sides

I think it's the obscene amounts of money the people that I'm supposed to admire make, playing games, that turns me off. I remember when footy players had to have real jobs like the rest of us.

Chewy looks great with a bit of tlc :naughty, might be my only purchase from the new anh offerings. Thanks for all the pics people! :duff

I'm with you all the way - but what about the film industry? Full of a bunch of over-paid drama queens (and I can tell you first hand because I work in it).

It's horses for courses; if people will pay money to "watch" these people - they'll get paid stupid cash, and (some) will act like a bunch of dicks.

Adults brushing their dolls, a new low.

Jesus.

I will brush my dollies hair and make it so pretty! I'm going for this look.

I love playing with my dollies and creating new "lows" in my life!

Yes I combed it with hot toys brush
No gel, no hairspray, no brylcream( unless you want elvis's hairstyle) just brush it
That's it

I am not sure why everyone thought a fully furred up figure would look 100% like they wanted it out of the box and decided not to get this figure because of said reason. :cuckoo:

Para has done a great job, but Hot Toys had a great figure from the beginning for me, glad everyone sees that now and are ordering.

I think it just comes down to a lack of experience with a figure covered with fur. No one was sure how "adjustable" and "customizable" the look would actually be until people starting getting it in hand. It was the pictures from all the conventions that began to make people feel nervous, and in retrospect the problem there was the people who set up the displays didn't know how to get the best out of the figure. Again, having to futz with fur around a face of a figure is a completely new kind of thing and no one knew until people started getting it in hand how "pliable" it would be and what kind of difference it could make. If it had been all glued down around the head and face or was rooted in a different way we might not have been able to really futz with it much at all.

I am glad the figure came out so good and all it really takes to make it look good is adjusting the fur, particularly pulling down the fur from under his chin so it doesn't go back so far. I think this makes the biggest difference right off the bat.

I agree :)

Liking the ESB look

Looks great! :clap

Out of curiosity though what distinguishes the ESB look from Chewie from ANH? The ROTJ look is far easier to distinguish with his parted "hair" coming forward on the top of his head, the difference between ANH and ESB with both having slicked back fur on the top of his head must be more subtle.

Chewie is the most futzable figure yet. In fact, he *demands* futzing.

"Laugh it up, Futzball!" :)
:rotfl Good job!

I can't understand why people are canceling there orders for chewa
They saw the prototype ( muzzle on it as well ) and the released version, the latter is miles better in my opinion
Neither both look anything like him but with a comb everything's cool man :cool:
