Cool photo. Does anyone have the SideShow Cantina benches? Is Chewy too big to sit in them?

Was able to seriously lighten up Chewies face by applying soft layers of Tamiya weathering master Burnt Red, found in set D, its an exact match to the lighter shades of Chewies fur. Its not as uniform light as it looks in the pic. In hand there's a lot of shades of fur. But compared to the almost totally black fur face I received it looks so much better.

Force yourself to watch it just before going to see TFA. :) If you come out of there screaming about "oscar contender" it will have done its job.

That's a great idea. It won't save the movie long time if it turns out to be bad, but it would certainly ease the small frustration that might follow if it doesn't end up being the whole OT goodness rolled into one.

Color looks great. :clap Will look for this and try lighten face to eyebrow area on mine. I wasn't sure what to get as I am bad with colors.

Nice work!

I'm not a great futzer so instead of a pic of just my Chewie I've hidden him in a line up of other "tall" figs for a bit of a height comparison.

From left to right: Sideshow Darth Vader Deluxe, Hot Toys ANH Chewbacca, Hot Toys Groot, Sideshow IG88.

Here are pics from how I decided to display the duo for now. Chewie is hunched now so his head will clear the Detolf. Might move them to a Besta once I have the whole gang for a group pose like some of the ones we've seen.

With a little more light directed their way.

They look brilliant. I like how you have posed Han. Very cool. I so need to get me a Han Solo. He completes the look!!

Here's my pose:
