Chewbacca ordered. Had to. I have SS Han, though I may pose chewie with Leia as Boushh.

I didn't need a second Han. With limited shelf space, I'm trying to avoid duplicates.

Sorry, GB. No PT dolls from Hot Toys. Please remove your Darth Maul and Anakin and Kenobi. Keep your Sideshow versions. They are properly distorted to represent what the PT Saga had to offer.

It is very much off. The eyes are set too close together, too deep, and the colouring of the fur on the head is wrong.



I'm with you, although I wouldn't describe myself as a perfectionist, but when I buy a figure of a certain character, I oddly expect it should look like that character. Don't settle for crap people. Demand HT improve, or you'll just keep getting 7/10 headsculpts. Social media is your tool. Make noise. Lots of noise.

Exactly man. I shouldn't say I'm a perfectionist, but I'd like to at least look at the quality of these expensive figures with some unbiased opinion and standards. For these steep prices we pay, I think it's our right and is important for us fans/customers to voice our opinions to help improve the quality standards of this hobby, and to help keep Hot toys with bringing their A game. I mean, some fellow members here need to get side jobs just to stay in his hobby for pete's sake. If Neca can make $17 figures of Dutch that looks a LOT like Arnold, and planet of the apes figures that nails Cornelius' likeness then I'd expect Hot Toys' $230 figures to at least look more like Harrison Ford and Chewie.

I don't think the terms like "just good enough", "settle for", "resigned to", "learn to like", "it's not too bad" or "it kind of looks like him from certain angles and when the lighting reflects from there" should even be used when dealing with $230 figures. I guess I'm just really passionate about this hobby and even more passionate about these characters that they're making. I really want these figures to be accurate and wow me. But so far they haven't quite yet.

Perhaps we should post some opinions on Hot Toys' facebook page as well. Anywhere where the producers would read them. By the time they make Vader and Jedi Luke I'm hoping Hot Toys gets the point that some of us fans/customers are expecting higher accuracy sculpts.

Well, NP was born in June 1981. For some reason, I thought TPM came out in '97, it was that forgettable. She was a few weeks from 18 by the time the movie came out, so Wor-Gar better be careful!

I had no real issues with Padme, mostly because I love Natalie Portman.. But I hated Hayden Christensen & his Anakin portrayal. He was decent in ROTS though. When he was turning evil
