Everyone here will get Chewbacca even if they leave him as is. It's Chewbacca. Been waiting 10 years. Now matter how he's improved he'll still look like a furry dildo in your display.

Ain't that the truth.

I haven't put in my order yet because I'm hoping SSC will be generous this Spook and toss out some RP. I have $120 in RP and if in dont see any more given out on the horizon I'm going all in.

That doesn't look exactly right for OT Chewy but that looks so awesome!

It does make you keep asking the question - what's the fur going to look like out of the box?
Wonder if they will include a little comb

That's a great shot. I'm still finding it hard to believe HT is doing this. I paid more for a custom that didn't look nearly as good. The only thing I'd really love to see done differently is for his mouth to be closed. That's an incredibly minor nit compared with how excited I am to see this being produced though.

None of the customs were really that good, but I understand you buying it (and paying a lot - they were clearly a huge amount of work for the customizer) because there was no logical reason to believe any company could do a furred Chewy well.

This release is still one of the most remarkable surprises in SW collecting in many, many years.

I'm sure we'll get a snarling sculpt with the ep7 figure.:)

If ever there was a figure that a mouth hinge could be hidden this one is it. I lean more towards a closed mouth portriat but if they could make it open a bit and close that would be freakin awesome.

That's the big thing for me. This figure has some issues - some minor, some less minor. And its 'out of the box' condition is yet to be seen.

But the fact that HT is even doing this is the big thing. Instead of making Iron Man Mark VIHKJFHKSL 2.0 (scuff above the left knee version), they made a fully haired, Chew-freaking-bacca.

I have seen some good Chewie customs. This one in particular looks really good in my opinion.
