It does make you keep asking the question - what's the fur going to look like out of the box?

I think we'll get what we see as far as the actual material (hair). Futzing will be key with this figure. I bet first in hand pics will emerge from bad futzers and look ridiculous. Everyone will flip their lid and the internet will implode. Then, someone with a little care and patience (dare I say skill?) will make Chewy look like a handsome devil and the balance will be restored to the Force. Reordered!

It surely will give a few new options. I wish Sideshow would complete the Dejarik table set with Falcon couch/seats (or let HT do it) to give even more display options.

That would end up looking bad actually.

You'd have a cavity - open growling mouth is fine for that, sure.. then what about the closed mouth? They'd have to compensate for the gaps with separate fur bits around the mouth piece.. nah. It'd look like a moustache under his nose.

This sounds so possible. It's almost as if this has happened once or twice before!

But what you said about the futzing is true, and why I'm a bit scared of the fig. I'm the laziest HT owner, and the worst futzer - so the possibilities with Chewbacca are daunting.

Yeah, im not all for the switch out mouths, hinges etc. HT has enough gimmicks in their arsenal to make any given figure look wonky enough. Dont give them ideas!

We'll have enough to deal with with the hair.
