You wouldn't think it would be so hard to get Chewie's head right, since we're not exactly talking a human likeness here. Obviously the hair makes things a bit trickier, but I still don't think that's the main issue here.

Yeah, did too but will keep my BBTS Han/Chewy PO for now. I just keep feeling like two Chewies will be better than one. So many figs are "one needed for Jabba's Palace set-up, one needed for regular display."
