Kinda LTTP on him and Han - there was only a SS exclusive version of Han, not Chewie, correct?

Yup. If you buy the two-pack you get a big blaster. It seems like you also get the same blaster rifle if you buy the Stormtrooper two-pack, so it's not that exciting.

I took these pics in Hong Kong.

Chewbacca looks very impressive in person. He's still not 100% there but a definite purchase for me.

You can see from the side-on pics his face has a lot more definition and contours than some previous pics and the shape is very close to spot on for me. Fur color is very light sensitive and looks great on the display figure. His posture in the pose throws the look of the figure out a bit but should be fixable.

Is Chewies head too big? Or has it always been that large on the costume?

There is a seam around his real fur head. Could it be a DX? Joking. Yeah he is not 100% there but looks good. I do wish HT
Makes some adjustments before release.

They're both slightly off. Does anyone here really believe HT is going to make any tweaks or changes? I don't think the hue and cry has been all that great.

Chewies hair looks way more combed and straightened than in previous pics... Some of those pics a ways back looked downright shaggy/messy

on the those side pics looks like some one squished his head down to far. looks like he has no neck maybe rise it up a little might make him look taller

I have more trouble with Han's boots and body shape than I do with anything on Chewbacca.

Thanks for the pics, momaw. Chewie looks a lot better in these pics than I've seen previously. Definitely still room for tweaks on both, though, so hope HT continues to do so.

From that side view either the head looks too big or the body looks too small/thin. This figure better come out above and beyond my expectations as it is one of two I am expecting next year. I don't want it to become Robocop where everyone loves theirs BUT........

Yeah, something's not great with the head.

But is there really the possibility for a 2.0 with Chewie? If so, how long? Will we have to wait till all the Force Awakens figures are announced in 2015-2016 til we start seeing some real 2.0s? Or will HT make separate ESB and ROTJ versions of Chewie, where the differences are truly minor?

To me Chewie is as close to a "one and done" type of figure as you're going to get, so I'm a bit skeptical that we'll see many or any variants for him.
