You guys really should rewatch Star Wars if you think that this is what they look like. Same with the headsculpt on the Star Lord, that looks similar like Chris Pratt, but it doesnt capture his likeness.
Other figures look great, they managed to get most of the Avengers right and others too, so we know they can do it.
Han looks nothing like that in the movies.

I have high hopes for this figure. I have the Man of Steel superman and Robocop. I only own 2 HT figures and the likeness is amazing!

Some people object to head sculpts being reused; I could care less about that as long as they get the head sculpt right. If they only took time to get this perfect, which we know they could, they could get a ton of mileage out of it (Han, Stormtrooper Han, exclusive medal ceremony Han, even reuse it for Empire heads with different hair). It's just a mystery as to why they wouldn't want to make this great. Some kind of office politics is my guess. EDIT: off topic because I thought I was in the Han thread!)

Is this shipping also? Or are they going to resculpt it?
I'm considering cancelling my preorder. My cat brought this up the other day, and I reckon it's a better Chewbacca likeness than the HT proto:

Best,

Bad news for Chewbacca lovers. I got the production samples back yesterday and this is what I got:

Needless to say, I'm not happy with how the production piece varies wildly from the prototype in terms of detail and colour. If I want this done right I'm going to have to get someone on the ground at the factory. I'm sure they're prioritising HT stuff and shafting the foreign clients.

Terrible quality, I mean you could get results like that just from grooming a cat! Hot Toys need to step up their game.
