Thanks! Just even that ambiguity of maybe, maybe not helps. Trying to avoid as much as I can. Pretty much just saw the teaser and that's it. My girlfriend likes a couple of the actors from the ST so she wants me to get figures of them. Ridiculous.

I just looked up to see how The Force Awakens fits into the chronology. It's allegedly 30 years after ROTJ (34 years ABY).

So Chewie did survive, but might have sustained an injury...

It's gonna be a sad sad movie experience.

Chewie freaking out after watching Solo being cut down is gonna be very hard to watch, even the mournful Wookie cry on Hoth in Empire still gets me.
