My bet is HT got Medicom's license. Just makes sense and when's the last time we saw anything SW from Medicom? Their figures sold like crap and weren't doing LFL or Disney any favours by being on the market, so makes sense they either took it away from them or made renewing the license so expensive only HT could afford it.

possibly, however, in the past hasbro was able to block other companies from making action figures for SW period. and now Figma, S.H. Figuarts, and bandai/revoltech all have offerings as well. So i'm wondering if it's not something new entirely.

Hey, if i'm wrong, i'm wrong. I'm just as eager to see their first Vader as anyone else. Just their track history from tease, to reveal, to pre-order is usualy preeeeety long. Arkham batman anyone?

Rubber suit, or pleather?

I don't know the material they used on the proto pics I saw but it didn't look like rubber... Why would they use rubber? Vader never wore rubber, that doesn't make sense.

He told us weeks ago. He said it ain't perfect but its way better than anything we've gotten so far (meaning from Sideshow).

neither did Thor, Davey Jones, or Arkham Batman, yet they ( hot toys) used rubber in those cases, becuase it ws easier and cheaper to use rubber suits or bodies with printed on details to get the scale of those details correct.

It's a concern i have that they might go that route with vader as well.

You could say the same thing about HT ANH Han....don't mean I want to buy it.

Vader looks so sexy in rubber.

I'm sure he always wears rubber when he's relaxing. You know, when he's watching recordings of worlds he's blown up or daughters he's tortured. You know that. Everybody knows that!

Why does Hot Toys not know this?
