Fair enough. Don't misunderstand. i REALLY wanna get an in-depth look at their first vader. i wanna see how they do first time out of the gate.

I just doubt it will be any time soon.

They should be putting their effort in expanding their SW collection already.

Yes, I'm saying it we don't see a FULL reveal on christmas day we won't SEE a full reveal till June/july. by that, i mean SDCC. Vader is the type of thing you SAVE for a big event like SDCC.

Pre-order? 3-6 months AFTER full reveal. so, if we see him on christmas day, then pre-order in march.

if we don't see him till SDCC, then pre-order in october, and shipping/in-hand just before the movie comes out in 2016.

This is the kind of crazy logic that makes me love this thread...so much "FOR SURE" speculation. What you are saying makes no sense at all. Come on...its Darth Vader... the most popular character in Star Wars. They are not going to wait until SDCC to reveal him. The DX07 Luke is a poor example because the timeframe had to do with SS and their schedule. HT's license now is different. Use common sense and take a look at how HT has approached the SW license since they announced it at SDCC last July. In 4 months we have had 4 figures revealed and up for preorder. Now apply the same common sense towards their most popular flagship character...

Impatient people. It was a teaser. Vader will be here soon enough. I am sure that in no time at all when the full Hot Toys onslaught of Star Wars figures is in full gear we will all be hoping for them to slow it down because they will have to much coming down the pipe to afford it all and it will be crushing our wallets and we will all be complaining because we can't afford to get everything.

I'm already returning mine. It looked real good, real good, probably one of the best ever, I just didn't like the paint job on the black tusk. That was a deal breaker for me. I wish I had taken pictures before I boxed it up. Oh well....Maybe the next version will be better.

You know, with the whole coupon thing, you really do pre-order with the intention of cancelling down the line for the coupon, which in a sense IS in fact a pre-cancel.
