I've tried that, but this one wont catch for some reason. Its not the end of the world or anything, just slightly frustrating after putting the figure together for a hour or so.

I used to collect military figures. One hour would be considered pretty good going to fully kit out a figure, and require a range of tweezers, pointy things and magnifying glass :)

I haven't even tried mine yet, just looking at the instructions looks like too much work. I just installed the batteries for the lightsaber arm, not really that interested in the voice function.
Yep, seems kinda risky, too, with all we're hearing about belt bteakage and so on. I usually like to at least test electronics but the voice feature on these figures do nothing for me. Haven't bothered with the comparitively easy RoboCop, so there's no chance on this.

I could be wrong in thinking that they don't, but I would have preferred the lights on his life support system light up and blink in lieu of the voice effect.
Vader didn't get working chest lights until ESB, so it's accurate to the movie.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I just got my Vader today and I noticed two "dimple"-like indentations above his cheeks. One on each side. At first I thought "oh ****", but once I noticed each side had them in the exact same spots, I kinda figured it's supposed to be that way. I haven't noticed them in pics, but I'm thinking they would be difficult to pick up in a photo. They supposed to be there?

Yes. I remember spending 4-5 hours kitting up figures. Tweezers, needles, small scissors, bic lighters and super glue were all part of my tool box.

Im surprised Wor didnt make a gif out of the last two pics..Theres totally an opportunity for a "Vader dance."
