Finally got my interrogation droid put together. I wish it lit up but it's really cool nonetheless.

Finally got both arms to go straight down.

Here is a quick pic. Will take another shot after I fix the pose and futz the cape some more when I get the chance.

Awesome! No, it's better. I'll be doing that with mine. I think it looks much more natural.

That is a malevolent picture.

Circle is now complete...

Thanks!

Appreciate that man :D! It just takes time. Not really difficult to do. Btw what stands are those? They look really good. Looks like they can be opened, like furniture.

Coco, how'd you get that wonderful color out of your photo -- Vader's capes look so rich and velvety. In a good way. That slight bluish hint.

I don't know what the heck is going on there. Maybe I got some blue cheese dressing on his cape or something. :huh

Looks worth the time to me. I like that the cape isn't pushed out by his arms.

Those stands are homemade. They don't open or anything, just a two piece for looks. I'm not too keen on the flooring grates that HT is using.

I stole this pose; perfect - nice and simple. The stock figure on my Vader seems to flare with the left arm, but not so much with the right....the saber holding one. Is your Dome stock or did you lower it?

There'll be others, and you'd think they'd be better than this one.

:goodpost:

I'll wait for a Darth ESB . . .

He needs an IR remote for light & sound gimmicks.
He needs a new True Type . . . beefy yet posable.
Pure nylon joints.
Cyborg interface.
Force controlled willpower.

Yup full of wrinkles especially near the bottom. I'm tempted to use a iron on it.

I'm getting to that point myself. I've done quite a bit of water treatment to mine, but some things aren't going away. Not sure if I need to completely soak the cape and then drape it on him...seems a bit extreme. [emoji848]

looks really close mate , one thing you need to repaint the light grey buttons on the chest panel dark grey

Now that I am thinking hard about your suggestion - you mean the 4 switches or whatnot on the actual chest box? The ones that look almost white in my shot?

Update: found it: NICE

had not noticed that - huge thanks! And to avoid confusion, I assume this is just a flipped image.

Wonderful work! Especially that magnet idea! :clap

The one mod I have left to do is using gloves on the fingers. Really want to do that.

I salute the cajones/skill it takes to mod these figures to the next level. Jazz, Matrix, et al. Just stunning workmanship!

Inspired by the great work from fellow freaks i decided to mod my own a little more,i lowered the helmet a tad and painted up the chest armor.I also moved the wee plastic chain up a little more to the neck..View attachment 243151

Awesome work matrix! That's one of the best head on shots i've seen, tempted to mod mine now:panic:

Thanks for the compliments :)
