ESB is a no brainer. They'll modify they existing head sculpt and use the newer sculpted armour. I imagine the RO/Reeve Superman body will be used again. With new sculpted gloves and a modified chest box and belt boxes you're set to go.

Add a nice Bespin diorama base and you're set! Carbon Freezing Chamber base or the "No, I'm you're Father" bridge base.

Did a quick repose today and took some phone pics. Had the shoulder armor over the robes for a bit because I thought I liked it more but after seeing Rogue One I'm definitely back to the tried and true robes over armor lol.

I'd definitely pair an ESB Vader with the DX07 Bespin Luke, so a Bespin base for Vader would be nice.

Hahah that sounds awesome! I'm down for ESB Vader as well! :lol

He's the one character, aside from Michael Myers, I don't mind buying every version of.

Cool base.

What's wrong with his left glove though? It's all wrinkled up and looks like the thumb is missing. Also, you might want to swap sides with the belt boxes. The side with the green lights is the side that's closest to the belt buckle.

Here is my step-by step-tutorial on all Hot Toys Darth Vader mods. Part 1: Helmet and Shoulder Armour. Next step: Electronics, that video will be up later this week.

There's a full shopping list of everything I used for this video in the description below the video on youtube if you want to try any of this yourself.

Really excellent tutorial, Jazz! Saved! Makes me want to redo my Vader with your tips.

Eager to see the costume fixes when you produce it. I want to lower the arms on mine.

You're very welcome Wor-Gar. I'm uploading Part 2 on the Electronics as we speak. I'll put up a link as soon as its done. I'll make the video on the costume fixes tomorrow. Be sure to watch this second video as well if you want to lower the arms.

Excellent tutorial video! However would you consider offering your service to do the mods on our Vader's helmet and armor?

I originally did that cause I like that look in Empire, and now I'm to lazy to put the robes back over :lol

I'll get to it one day
